You are the UAV pro :) i always want to use the UAV there is just on problem. i fly chopper and when i set chopper keys then the uav got other keys. when i want fly uav i must change settings but then i cant fly chopper. I use my own settings to fly heli/jet :) cant use the default :D

if u have lag ive got no chance of killing with uav smoke launcher.but with minimal lag its a killing machine.i watch this vid when u first posted it i always use smoke now.i fly the choppers 2 so ive always got it on.and it helps having it in the tank 2.

How do you do with smoke? I'm trying to kill people with smoke but its really really hard I only kill like 1 people on 10 smoke shoot.

Please tell me... I try to keep it steady as possible, shoot on the guy and it doesnt kill him... I always must be at 1cm in the back of the guy to kill him, then I have to be steady and the recon douchebag just snipe my heli in one shot :(

I'm frustrated of always getting shot down with UAV using machinegun pack. I shoot oen bullet and all the freakin fucknig people on the map begin to shoot me, and see me from 5km. Even if I try to use sneaky secret passages, i get shot down in 3 bullets... I really want to use machinegun perk but i can't manage to get stable and they ALWAYS get em before i get them :/

NEED SERIOUS HELP. I don't want to stay 5km away with OP pack, i want to use that fucking machinegun.

@HalfLife2Beta A good tactic is once you get in the UAV, keep low and follow the perimeter of the map until you're behind your enemy, then rise up and start using the V-ALT machinegun. The first thing I always do before attacking anything is get behind my enemy.

@CryHavocWarfare Yes, I should admit when there are ennemies I directly attack them, I'll try to get behind them.

But on maps where the sun is in the back of the map, they can see the shadow of the UAV. :/

ANd if you are too much near the guy u want to kill he iwll hear ya, so..

@CryHavocWarfare Another games I did today, I get behind my ennemy, rise up and everyone shoot me, and I used a secret passage where they couldn't see me. I always fll on anti uav experts, its really frustrating...

I think they just look up and are lucky and see me :/ pfff

Because either I have good configuration for heli and shitty for uav or middle good for uav and really unplayble with helicopter.

And what's frustrating is that you have to get near ur ennemy to use machinegun or it wont touch them and u will be spotted, resulting in a uav waste. :/

But my maximum kill streak with uav is like 5 :/

Sometimes I want to flee because I get shot and goes in a tree, I hate that :/

By the way, depending on the map, I toggle from Optics to Smoke. Optics is great for long range tank killing and hunting/spotting, and smoke is great for setting up a good assault on an M-COM. And I'm on the 360.

And please people, don't use Alt. Fire on the UAV. If you have to be that close, you'll be shot down. Go for a roadkill instead. Be fast, quiet and fly behind cover once you get the kill.

But most important of all... don't forget to SPOT!

@airsoftbbgun It could be that you're too far/not directly aiming at them, or that you're abusing the spotting button. If you are doing the latter, wait 3 seconds and press it again, and it should work.

you know what I would really love to see? Someone posting a video of watching someone else get UAV roadkilled, with dramatic flying bodies. I have 240 roadkills in it as of right now, but NEVER have i seen someone get roadkilled in front of me. I'm dying to watch something like that...

@gaarvaag True, but the way the BC2 maps are designed, the position of the UAV emplacement doesn't give you a chance to sit back and have fun with it unless you own all the bases. I don't always attack them in the un-cap but when trying to make a frag-vid it's a case of beggars can't be choosers. All the best footage I had was when we owned most or all the bases.

Also, it could be worse.. I could have been attacking with the ALT-Weapon spec. Then it SERIOUSLY would've been unfair. -_-

It's completely random, whether it's a 1hit kill or not. But for the most damage try to hit the tank near the back, right on the turret/body.

Hitting it on the sides, front or on the turret is about 80-90 points of damage. Unless PC and 360 tanks are different, then I'm only telling the truth for consoles.
