The sopranos were a bit quiet, especially when they had the melody, and some parts were a bit out of tune (mostly the high notes), but otherwise its good.

We did this song in high school honors choir last year. This is a college level piece, and one of the hardest Ive ever sung for! this choir has great balance and dynamics! WELL DONE!

This is not an easy piece, and this group almost got it just right. The tuning is off; the vowels weren't well unified and it throws off the overtones that should be there in the chords. Also, and this may be a personal aesthetic choice, I would like to have seen the singers move with the music a lot more, after all the name of the piece is "Voice DANCE". This performance was enjoyable to listen to, and is better than most videos of this piece that I've seen posted on YouTube so far. Good Job.

this performance was actually rushed, we were all still pretty new to the piece.

we actually sang it a few months later opening for an act in Branson, MO and we definitely did a better job and everyone got into it and was moving around. it's too bad we didn't have that performance on film.

i already commented this video, but i was listening to it again and i couldn't help but notice you guys are singing this a step up from what it is written! it is in Eb but you guys sing it in E right? i actually think it sounds better!

wow! i can't believed you noticed that!!

in the last phrase section, the basses had a hard time hitting the low Eb, because the have to hold it for 6 beats, so we just transposed the song up to E.

yeah! thats cool, i sing bass and that Eb was a little tough to hold in that section! i think it sounds better! im weird and have perfect pitch and i notice little things like that..

we actually opened for the rankin brothers in branson, missouri.

yeah we had some STUBBORN people in our group this year and we fell apart! but i just graduated so no more of that for me! i dont know who the rankin brothers are but that sounds cool! we never opened for anyone haha..4 years ago when our jazz choir was at its peak, the year before i was in jazz choir, they were featured in carnegie hall in new york! my brother was in it that year, and then he graduated and i was in it the next year, when i was a sophomore, for 3 more years

that's my story! lol

yeah our mixed choir was also featured at carnegie hall 3 years ago. and last year we sang on a cruise ship and got the first place trophy for the best choir on the cruise ship. this year we sang at OMEA and all the judges and everyone said we were the best high school choir they ever heard.

i was pretty blessed to be in such a good choir.

Mrs. Mueller is leaving? That sucks! I was in choir in 97' to 99' in B'ville. We did South Pacific my senior year. I'm so sad she is leaving!
