i have to comment on the "raid leader being a dick." me and my guild leader and another guildie were doing just a random dungeon and our party leader told me word by word, "get the hell out of blood spec", since i was a dk, since she calls blood spec dk's are noobs and i wouldn't change specs, so she starts bitching and bitching so much, me, my guildie and guild leader just left the group
I lvled my hunter in blasted lands, so it was alrdy red, then suddenly the npc's disappear and im like: Wtf?! i say to my guildies: Weird, my npcs disappeared.

About the guild thing i was in a regular lvl 10 guild with 4 of my buddies and we did zg/za every week. I had more fun with them but they decided to join this hardcore raiding guild and i am not having any fun at all. Your always worrying about messing up but when i was with my other buddies we would just laugh it off and shit.
Just because we are girls dont mean we deserve something else id rather earn my stuff than get it handed to me id rather be treated just like everyone else
As far as the vanity/appearance idea, it's perfectly fine because it could be automatically disabled for pvp, battlegrounds, and arenas etc. So there's no argument for that. As far as people changing the colors or switching out the model of their heroic gear for other tiers that wouldn't be a problem at all because you could just have this whole thing in your graphics options. Turn it off if you want to see what people are really wearing, turn it on if you want to see people rocking cooler gear
Personally I've come across more guys pretending to be girls to be "loot-whoring", than actual girls. You'd be surprised how many guys do that.
And I understand some people do it out of what you call respect for the girl, just as some guys put girls in front of themselves in real life aswell. But, whether it's in-game or rl, I'd never expect it just because I'm a female. Everyone should be treated equally.

Do you think it would be more fair if the way you were able to tell the difference between classes in pvp was based more on specific features in gear that stick out beyond all other things about them. Would this make it ok to change the color of your gear or do you think it might be exploited by people not equipping certain pieces of gear or not showing helms. I'm not much of a pvper so i dont know how this would work out. anyway, love the show nyhm!
Some of the characters I play are female. For me its an aesthetic reason. I don't like how Male Taurens look, but I do like how Female Taurens look. Same with Orcs, but I play Male Trolls and Blood Elves. I can go either way with Forsaken.
I'm a gay guy, and I play mostly male characters. However, on my few female characters, I find it extremely awkward if guys hit on me. It has happened, and I usually just smile and walk away because I don't want the guys to feel bad about themselves.
And yeah, the majority of my girl toons are blood elves.
About the armor customization thing, I've always thought it would be a cool idea to be able to take an "essence" from a high tier armor set and remove it from that armor, (basically you're taking out the stats out of that piece of armor) and then embued it with any set that you want. So like for pallys, I know most people love the judgement set back in vanilla. You could take the essence from the T12 and embued it with the judgement and have the tier that you love along with the epic stats.
@kabroniux. hmm, i see :o. I know guys that play female characters and actually say to people, other than guildies, that they are girls IRL. I really do not see why they would do something like that? The only one they're trying to impress or whatever are themselves. But oh well....

About the whole thing about girls, I am nicer to girls, but this is the reason: If anyone, anyone is nice to me, and asks me for a favor, not loot or drops, I'll do the favor, probably. But I've never, NEVER met a guy who's that nice. However, most girls, like my former guild leader, are really nice, I am great friends with my old guild leader now, so I'd do a favor, of course. But most guys are all assholes, so I don't think they deserve it. But some girls are assholes as well = no favores.

Basically the tech issue with the sound was we were all turned up to almost max volume so you could hear Nyhm better which in turn made the background noise crazy high, and yes the keyboard was me LOL im a bit of a noob with the program we used and am so used to vent so it was a force of habit, so mic was open n i was directly over my keyboard at the time, i dun goof'd. i hopefully will be on again sometime, i had an absolute blast. hey Nyhm, for firelands you can choose to go to any of the first 4 bosses. only staghelm and ragnaros are gated. the "first" boss is Shannox imo and you spawn him by killing trash.
Get rid of underwater breathing? Really? The problem is that there's no use for it except mining/herb in the new Thousand Needles. I'm disappointed that Vashj'ir gives an underwater breathing buff to all races, preventing the racial to have any advantage over any other class. There's no "I wish I was an undead right now for that underwater breathing so I don't have to surface so much." In terms of balance, this is the same as if humans could only equip their extra trinket in thousand needles.
blizzard brings in approx. $187 million per MONTH. theres no possible way that they need to charge extra for stupid things that should be free. i understand that they have employees to pay but the over head can't be that much.

Actually Gigi's idea is awesome and I really was twisted between starting LotRO or WoW because of that, since in LotRO you get to customize your look no matter what you are wearing. Actually WoW really sucks in customizing your character compared to other games. As I said, I hope blizzard do this and not in some lame-ass way like something that will give people the power to make their characters look like clowns or something, but i trust Blizz, they always do their stuff in an epic way :P
Your chatroom was wrong about the undead WotF information. PvP trinket and WotF don't share the same cd but using WotF puts your PvP trinket on a 30 sec cd. Undead PvPers would still use a pvp trinket.
Here comes the best classes and racials combined. Tauren=palladin(Warstomp and more hp) Orc=Hunter(Extra pet damage) there are more but i dont remember them.

Aion has the gear appearance customization feature... you can take one piece of gear (i.e. an upgrade) and make it look like another piece of gear (i.e. the piece of gear that it replaced that may look cooler but be worse).
In response to the dye answer, in rift you can't really tell what classes people are unless you look really hard and notice spells, wow is just completely different.
I like the Idea of free features like this but it shouldnt b totally FREE it should cost gold and the amount of gold depends on your lvl like 5k at lvl 85 and 10g at lvl 10 then also 5 or 10 dollers so they get some money also. IfI were blizz I think that would be a pretty good deal. ( with the 16 doller subscription ONLY to the the people who have used the feature more than once

I would like to point out, that gaming doesn't make you a "nerd". Neither do accessories or seeing comic book movies. It's a "life style" and isn't about accessories or casual gaming, the people who love the lore, the worlds, the characters in games, comics, and anime. Those are nerds.... About the whole thing about girls, I am nicer to girls, but this is the reason: If anyone, anyone is nice to me, and asks me for a favor, not loot or drops, I'll do the favor, probably. But I've never, NEVER met a guy who's that nice. However, most girls, like my former guild leader, are really nice, I am great friends with my old guild leader now, so I'd do a favor, of course. But most guys are all assholes, so I don't think they deserve it. But some girls are assholes as well = no favores.

Basically the tech issue with the sound was we were all turned up to almost max volume so you could hear Nyhm better which in turn made the background noise crazy high, and yes the keyboard was me LOL im a bit of a noob with the program we used and am so used to vent so it was a force of habit, so mic was open n i was directly over my keyboard at the time, i dun goof'd. i hopefully will be on again sometime, i had an absolute blast. Also gigi if u see this... Will you sign my frostbite? :O foll

hey Nyhm, for firelands you can choose to go to any of the first 4 bosses. only staghelm and ragnaros are gated. the "first" boss is Shannox imo and you spawn him by killing trash.

Get rid of underwater breathing? Really? The problem is that there's no use for it except mining/herb in the new Thousand Needles. I'm disappointed that Vashj'ir gives an underwater breathing buff to all races, preventing the racial to have any advantage over any other class. There's no "I wish I was an undead right now for that underwater breathing so I don't have to surface so much." In terms of balance, this is the same as if humans could only equip their extra trinket in thousand needles.

blizzard brings in approx. $187 million per MONTH. theres no possible way that they need to charge extra for stupid things that should be free. i understand that they have employees to pay but the over head can't be that much.

Actually Gigi's idea is awesome and I really was twisted between starting LotRO or WoW because of that, since in LotRO you get to customize your look no matter what you are wearing. Actually WoW really sucks in customizing your character compared to other games. As I said, I hope blizzard do this and not in some lame-ass way like something that will give people the power to make their characters look like clowns or something, but i trust Blizz, they always do their stuff in an epic way :P

Your chatroom was wrong about the undead WotF information. PvP trinket and WotF don't share the same cd but using WotF puts your PvP trinket on a 30 sec cd. Undead PvPers would still use a pvp trinket.

Here comes the best classes and racials combined. Tauren=palladin(Warstomp and more hp) Orc=Hunter(Extra pet damage) there are more but i dont remember them.

Actually I think that @Macehitsface is a total douchebag ... idk how he can pretend to be a girl, that sounds so traumatizing to me xD My very first toon in WoW was a night elf hunter, since in warcraft 3 my favourite hero was Tyrande, but it all crubled when one day a guy in my guild, who I`ve raided with for several months, asked me in guild "Hey babe, are you free for a duel in front of Shattrath?" x.x I was just traumatized for live and I never made a female character again...

On the racial note: back in classic, when priests had racial spells, I picked a fugly dwarf just to get fear ward. And when bliz made rearward for everyone it pissed me off.. cause I was only them fugly dwarfs for it.. so I ended up quiting the toon that was geared from MC/BWL and made a human priest.

Aion has the gear appearance customization feature... you can take one piece of gear (i.e. an upgrade) and make it look like another piece of gear (i.e. the piece of gear that it replaced that may look cooler but be worse).

In Guild Wars, they have vanity slot items, and they cant be seen in pvp, they get auto hidden when you enter a battleground :)

I like the Idea of free features like this but it shouldnt b totally FREE it should cost gold and the amount of gold depends on your lvl like 5k at lvl 85 and 10g at lvl 10 then also 5 or 10 dollers so they get some money also. IfI were blizz I think that would be a pretty good deal. ( with the 16 doller subscription ONLY to the the people who have used the feature more than once
