It holds together with no staples, glue or tape. Amazing!

Also tried it rotating the cuts by 90º and using long paper ("Legal" size in North America: 8.5 x 14 inch) and it makes a very nice "vertical" book.

As far as I can tell, some of the pages are four pages thick. If I count each combination of pages as two pages (the front and the back) then this does come out to 16 pages, including the front and back covers.  And yes, it appears that they do count both sides of each page as a page. How clever!

You have to make it VERY clear as to which side/end you are folding. You are turning the entire piece over too quickly to see which end is being folded.
