so what?? 2011 car tests go with 64 kmh, sierra did pretty good for its year, but if you look @ 90 km/h frontal crash- even 2000+ year car wouldnt hold that much abuse, thats driver dead 100%

I remember watching this when i was like 4 years old. It was a commercial on the TV, and i never forgot the flying head at 90. Then they stopped viewing it. I always wanted to see it again. Now, im 13, and i found it. Yay! xD Thanks for uploading. =)

I love Sierras, I own one(Merkur XR4Ti actually) and pretty soon I'll be driving it( right now it's waiting for repairs and tuning). When I see these crash test results, I just can't feel a certain amount of insecurity.

I mean I've got 175 hp, I'm going for 200+ and I've got pretty much nothing for impact protection. I am gonna install ABS to help avoid accidents, but daaaamn.

On the other side, having all that power and low protection makes it really bad ass >:D . Adrenaline rush \m/ .

I won't survive, that's pretty much for sure. And even if I do get out alive, I will still die on the inside knowing that I destroyed my beloved XR4. So, my best bet is to drive it carefully and keep myself out of trouble, let it loose only when it's appropriate.

What is wrong with this people, i have a ford taunus/cortinaMK5, i hit a tree at 50 km/h and i didnt even breack the radiator, just hood, bumper, and light, i didnt even had a scrath, the engine didnt stop and i drove home, sierras cant be that different, exept if you loose the dashboard and seats

fair point but theres only so much a 5star car can deal with. i mean if you both doing te same speed 70 mph for example your both history. so in reality i dont matter what you drive. and before you argue the strength of new cars is hight because it is but the sudden stop and the g-forces on the internal organs is what kills not always a steering wheel in the face lol
