@khangu262 The sound you're hearing is the midi I recorded from the keyboard into my computer with the Garritan Personal Orchestra Steinway sound library. This doesn't involve any microphones. If you wanted I'm sure you could go from the keyboard to computer with midi, the computer convert the midi to audio, and from the computer to an amp to get the sound. I sometimes use my computer speakers in a similar way to the above.
@TamaThps Heh Heh. Well, you deserve the praise. =) Oh, may I ask? Where did you learn to play the piano? From lessons? Self-study? When you were still a kid? =)
@daydreamer019 I started playing around 3 years ago leaning on my own. The program synthesia has helped a lot because I'm quite terrible at reading sheet music. But that's pretty much my story :)
can u tell how did u connect it to cubase/fl? I mean for using it like midi keyboard? Im searching for a long time which cable to buy for it... I want to use it instead of keyboard so much, but i dont what i need. I just've got cdp-100 and program.
@Gigatless Sure! I use "EMU Xmidi 1x1 USB MIDI Interface" (they sell it at amazon) Just remember that you plug midi in into your keyboards midi out and midi out into your keyboards midi in. Kind of opposite of what you'd think, not sure why. Then just goto FL and search for it in midi devices if it does not automatically recognize it.
@TamaThps hey dude! i've just bought midi connector (not E-mu, but Force Air) and it works perfectly! Can u tell, is it good to hold it connected everytime?
@Gigatless I'm not exactly sure what you're asking by "is it good to hold it connected everytime?" If you mean is it good to leave the it connected at all times, I would think it couldn't hurt, but I can't say that from experience. I always plug the usb into my computer only when I need to use it so I have an extra usb slot when not in use. I do however leave the midi in/midi out chords plugged into my keyboard at all times. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your kind words. The premise behind this anime is somewhat off putting when you just read a short description, but when you've finished the series I agree it is an amazing story. Good luck to you as well :)
Thanks. As for the keyboard, it's the cheapest one I could find that has 88 fully weighted keys. It's the only one I've ever owned because I'm pretty new to piano, so I don't have much to base my opinion off of. But I like the feel of it. Doesn't really feel cheap at all to me.
this is amazing, and btw, am i the only one who hears koshiro/nanoka's thought when this plays?

Simply amazing. I was absolutely shaken by how emotional the anime and manga were, and this piece evokes the exact same feelings.
