The problem in America is that so many of us sit on our fat, unhealthy, complacent asses and demand very little from our politicians! We barely show up to vote! We dont have time for "that political stuff!" We're sooooo "busy". It takes a financial crisis like the one we suffered last year to make a difference! We are a reactive people! Our culture does not encourage pro-activeness! But I do believe that by God, we're gonna make it! Somehow, someway! But, the change begins today!

Goldman is spot on! Vladimir Putin has been a disaster for Russia and has really set back the hands of time! Now, he's made a recent statement praising Stalin! WTF? It's not surprising coming from a "former" member of the KGB! Democracy is the best form of government! Yes, it is! And that's my opinion! If another country doesn't believe in it, that's fine! What's important is individual autonomy, freedom, liberty, human rights, civil rights, civil liberties and a minority that is respected!

@jchris723 he was actually quite critical of stalin... but he made the point that the west wasn't critical of stalin whilst he was destroying the Nazis. He also made the point that stalin transformed russia from a medieval society into a global superpower and stalin also catalysed the independance movement in Africa.
The issue is a real hot topic in Russia atm, as Stalin did save the world from Nazism, but he committed some great evils as well, putin is trying to address that.
