  • "I look at the mike, and I notice it's turning"

  • what an anoying microphone stand

  • What a line up. Wonderful.

  • clapton on les paul? what the hack!

  • did clapton just use les paul? sound sweet!

  • @MrJLee0325

I was thinking the same thing... and George is playing the strat.

  • Clapton Collins and Elton john are not the beatles..this has only two members of the beatles..

  • After watching the Concert for George again just now surely Harrison's fellow Husband In Law does not fail to see the irony when he plays the solo and the one on Concert for George is obviously so important to EC - look at Dahni at the end..................

  • Clapton Harrison..Best friends..you can see how they look each other's playin' :D

  • who is that with the tambourine?

  • @RONNIEPBER That's Ray Cooper, a great percussionist.

  • Diesen musikalischen Giganten bei der Arbeit zuzuhören und -zusehen ist ein endloser Genuß.

  • Harrison and Clapton together - the classical, perfect combination - such brilliance and talent!

  • Classical song from George Harrison. I just love this.

  • How can 14 people dislike this?!

  • It´s Level 42´s Mark King on bass?!!!. Wonderful song!.

  • Historical Video

  • 涙が出るよ、リンゴ、長生きしてくれ。

  • who is the drummer beside ringo?

  • @suyash622 phil collins

  • Fabuloso!

  • Prince did a nice piece of work with this tune, but Clapton defined it here. He is fucked up here(no shit) and exudes this brash and swaggering cockiness that borderlines on obscene, but, blessed are we, he plays that guitar with that same cocky assuredness and just lets it all out as he does here when pushed a little by George. Best rendition out there I think.

  • By Jove..Elton John is hopped up on cocaine!

  • clapton playing the bridge pickup, specially on a les paul. that's something

  • great great great video.

  • aaaaaargh! this sounds damn too much 80's! come on, we dont want that aweful drum sound!

  • imma CLAP for CLAPTON!!

  • merci George !

  • PARABÉNS GEORGE E TODOS OS GRANDES MUSICOS QUE EXECUTARAM COM ELE. ÓTIMA MUSICA, VALEU!

  • George Harrison should've been the Beatles front man

  • What a line-up ! George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Jeff Lynne, Phil Collins, Mark King - WOW - wish I could have been there - and what a great song!

  • "Without 'em, there wouldn't be us" THERE WOULD BE NOTHING! <3

  • Georg Harrison was underrated.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRulze no he wasn't .. he was very high rated by people who knew which beatles songs were his.. and lets not forget the Travelling Wilburrys

  • @kashiv Hes talking about his guitar playing i think, which often gets overlooked even though it was amazing.

  • You forget the HD resolution.

  • (Extremely gracious intro by EJ.)

    The Vid itself? ICONIC.

  • In response to the comment about EC being drunk - gee, all these guys played music every single day, drunk, high or sober. Hell, they could probably play in their sleep - that's how good they are, or in Harrison's case, were. Clapton looked pretty bad, though, until he had a solo rift or two. Then he got interested in the music.

  • How dare you Forgot Elton John!?

  • First of all, as with almost all of the Beatles vast library of tunes, this one, being well over 40 years old is still as vibrant as when it first came out. And on this video, you can see how Eric, who was there for the White Album recordings after India, and George are still good mates. Elton is right, without the Beatles, pop music would have been poop music. Yet, if you haven't already, check out the BEST Beatle replicators, The FAB FAUX...right here on you tube. Killer version of this song.

  • Well, it was his song, but EC did the solos on the take, being found on White Album anyway, so what?

  • I think this live was made while Paul has a tour of his solo that's why he's not there. THE BEATLES will be known forever!

  • Clapton's drunk! Still brilliant however.

  • Brilliant...!

  • i taught my self how to do the intro on piano

  • 5:21 !! sexy move...Mr.Starr ! classy

  • paul mccartney no fue ese dia porque sabia que el mundo no lo iba a soportar... muchas estrellas juntas

  • we miss you george

  • George 4 ever :D

  • Anyone notice the mic moving? Its more like "While my mic gently moves"

  • Wow, I had not heard or seen this version before, it´s excellent! The 2 great masters of guitar together playing a great song! Thank you Elainezerati for posting!

  • @XProckTJ

They both play the original song

  • The 2 GODs of guitar met!

  • 5:37. that exchange of smile between george and eric.

  • how can u forget to mention Elton John?

  • @djb6986 How can you forget to mention Jeff Lynne, as well?

  • @djb6986 shut up and enjoy the fucking song!

  • @djb6986

    oh that douche.

lol no but seriously he is a douche

    a very talented douche

  • @Pimpmastahanhduece lol thats some funny shit lol

  • @djb6986 and Jeff Lynne from ELO...?!

  • @djb6986 How can he call that "The Beatles ?"

  • @djb6986 and Clapton too

  • Clapton played the lead on the original Beatle recording on George's Gibson Les Paul that Clapton had just given him.

  • Clapton on a Less Paul? I always thought he was such a Stratocaster-whore, lol.

  • Why he had to go? I don't know, he did not say....

  • An Excellent Job Uploading in HD

    Sounds Great!!!!

Awesome To See The Best Talent Playing All Together

I Take My Hat Off And Bow To You All!!!

  • Every musician in this video are a genius

  • Amazing change in the music it is very nice

  • eric clapton always looks like he's scolding someone lol

  • How can there be two drummers play at the same time in one performance.......

  • Oh ! there's also Phil Collins !

  • i don t understand. Are they beatles? Where is lennon? Where are the members? o.o

  • @666RocKMania lol, there's ringo, and george of course. no lennon or mccartney.

  • @666RocKMania Lennon pass the way

  • ya! why didn't they throw a better mic stand up there??

  • Ka pierdole, Improwizowanie E.Claprtona i G.Harrisona tak ok 4: 40 min , magia.

  • I look at this mike,

and see it keeps turning ...

  • never to be bettered

  • der

  • Ez kegyetlen jó !!!

  • but george harrison died in 2001

    why december 2008???

  • Can anyone tell me the song in the beginning when the pictures come up???

  • I Love George, but i was gutted when i found out clapton done the solo work on this!

  • GEORGE HARRISON!!!

  • just SUPERB !!!

  • you do know why eric clapton is such a great player dont you? and dont say because he is british. HAHAHAHA it IS because he was taught by a great AMERICAN guitar player that goes by the name of B.B. KING. SO TAKE THAT BRITAIN. HAHAHA Just playing ya'll but that is true.

  • Rock 'n Roll never dies! :-)

  • Real music being played by real musicians, how refreshing.

  • Guitar battle between two greats, while Clapton had the upper hand George's style I liked more.

  • @Elainezerati what year was this?

  • TEE HEE CANT WAIT TILL ALL THE REST OF YOU FUCKING BRITS ARE DEAD TO, TEE HEE

  • What difference would that make?Theres the Brits minding there own business while the fat American trash of the world has to voice its opinion about EVERYTHING.So if all Brits were dead you'd still be sitting there eating fast food from a bucket watching the SCOTTISH Television, driving your ENGLISH car out for more buckets of food, calling your fat friend whos too drunk on IRISH alcohol to help your fat ass while you listen to the WELSH singers on your BRITISH made radio...ha..America,a joke

  • @elmarco1984 I like how you call us Americans jokes when you wasted your time saying free speech over the internet and it wasn't even a reply. it was completely random.

  • @DoubleMJAGaming i like how you know you got owned.....and still come back with something as pathetic as this, please dont message me again you fat piece of trash, just stick your head in that trough of deep fried shit and carry on livin the miserable life of the average fat american twat

  • this is.....for a 65 years old bloke....how should I put it.....Yeah......Paradise Music and a trip back to my Youth ......don't let R&R die !

  • wow! this is history!!!!!!! this is my young life lmao. only joking but these guys are history! thank you for posting this

  • ‎"I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it need sweeping Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you they bought and sold you I look at the world and I notice it's turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know how you were
  • George asked me what I wanted to hear while he was on stage ... he had already played this..I said "what is Life".. what a guy....

  • Jak zawsze piękne......

  • squealed when I saw Jeff Lynne.. OH MAN I LOVE ALL THESE PEOPLE SO MUCH I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Sólo faltaron los otros 2 Beatles (John y Paul) para hacer más grande esta versión de la canción...!

  • which year is this live?

  • It hurts not to see the Beatles on stage but beautiful to see Geo and Ringo

  • LOL George sounds alot deeper there!

  • Ringo jaki twardy:D

  • PHIL COLLINS! ♥

  • Amusing how many here want to critique this, rather than just sit back and enjoy the genius of it. Listen to the music and soak it in or go away. Those who think it's brilliant just hit replay.

  • Thank you Elton John for enabling this fantastic performance with George in such excellent voice ... what''s with that microphone? It must have had a loose screw and been moving on its own.

  • Never seen George trading licks with Clapton- this shows George didn't really need Clapton to cover that solo, but he WANTED him, that's different. Someone else said that George had bad stagefright right before this show and Clapton let him know he'd be right there beside him...you can see their great friendship and love. Now, what's with barely a mention of the great Jeff Lynne and blondie Dave Edmonds?

  • they grew really old

  • he must hate that microfone

  • aww man this is such a goood fucking song !!!

  • For Marrou2008: La orignal la tocan John,George, paul and Ringo y es original de los Beatles, por ahi puedes ver los punteos de John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Keith Richards buscalo en you tube

  • AND YOU SAID ANY BODY ELSE, I SAID PINK FLOYD

  • how can you title George and Ringo with "The Beatles" .. paul john

  • goerge got stage fright right before they ere to go on and clapton, his best bud,who played lead on the song when 1st released told goerge ''i'll be right next to you,no worries,--inerviews are sometimes better than leson's-but what do i know????????

  • Miss Mark King of Level 42 (Bass) in commentary

  • tee hee he is dead

  • @sottythesecond yah thats fuckin hilarious dick

  • habrá un video donde punteé George harrison aunque lei por ahi que la versión original la toca Eric Clapton..

  • ringo is the rocker

  • Love this tune. Check out my cover version!

  • George harrison Ringo starr phil collins Elton jonh and clapton it's legends of the british and the world music

  • 5:05 Geroges thinks "damnit Eric, let me solo my own fucking song", nice thing Clapton just got it ;)

  • @josemontenegro777 Well, of course not. George recorded about 40 takes with different guys. Even John Lennon made an effort, you know - though he's not the best guitar-soloist in the world (apart from his music talent). But George wanted a guitar to really weep and nobody could do it better that Eric Clapton. However George should somehow implement his own thing in his song - here you're right. But this is all a rehearsal thing, I guess.

  • @kashtandr lol I knoww.... Harrison was terrific guitar player but still he wanted to have Clapton playing that song.... actually in this performance it was like... "let me take it from here" and it was great.... I was just kidding

  • @josemontenegro777 Then I just didn't get it, dude.))) Sorry! But as for "terrific guitar player"... well, he wasn't that terrific. None of the Four was a great master of an instrument actually. What made their outstanding success and historic example even more brilliant

  • @josemontenegro777 George asked Clapton to play the guitar solo in the original recording of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" in 1968. The guitar solo in this song is very much Clapton's to play!

  • @josemontenegro777 Clapton did the solo on the original Beatles White album

  • If I see another one of those fucking I say you say things I'm going to go on a killing spree shut the fuck up and listen to the music christ

  • Good to see and hear Clapton with a Gibson.

  • Phil Collins is much better than Ringo Starr.

  • @eddogar I doubt seriously that Phil Collins thinks that. In fact, Collins has publicly praised Ringo as a great rock drummer that has long been underated and underappreciated. Their individual styles are different. Ringo's drumming is so well suited the the Beatles' music - his "forte" being the fills on songs. Collins has singled out the Fabs' 'A Day In The Life' as an example of Ringo's stellar drumming. On that I think we can all agree!

  • For hidden messages in Beatles songs search Truth Contest, click on The Present, click on the Beatles section. Thumbs up this comment.

  • I'm part of the 8%

  • They just don't have music like this anymore at all =/

  • george and eric are wearing suits ... what classy guys. they don't make musicians like that anymore. :(

  • Inacreditável o finura do solo de George Harrison.

  • You also forgot homo John (Elton John).

  • @iankamiandryan While I like the bands you mentioned, I absolutely hate these stupid 'you say/I say' comments. Then at the end you need to seek everyone's approval by asking for a 'thumbs up'.

It's great if you enjoy your music but leave out the u Say/I say bit cause it just makes you look like a fool.

  • @iankamiandryan amen brother

  • @iankamiandryan Iagree..

  • @iankamiandryan ..Fuck off you stupid thumb whore.

  • @iankamiandryan 92%? Where did you get that from rofl

  • @iankamiandryan You seem to sound like a dumb ass

  • @iankamiandryan Its a sin to use the word punch where there's the name Beatles

  • @iankamiandryan 2 things, i can guarantee you pulled that 'statistic' out of your ass, and rock isn't dieing.

  • Is it me or George and Eric have their guitars inverted!?

  • Harrison there is god

  • @SinyaaPyll He's part of history. That's a fact. But let's not get crazy with the he's God stuff now...

  • I want to be man the who plays the pandereta... The best Spectator

  • when fender & gibson combined....

  • I get how its george and ringo. But still, dont put the beatles in the name of the video. Its not the beatles.

  • Anybody know what year this was?

  • I LOVE THE BEATLES!!! except george sounds way different from when he first made this song :(

  • @Goldrockstar06 yeah sadly thts the effects of age, YOKO, and smoking

  • THERE GOES THE LEGENDS IN GUITAR.

  • lo maximo

  • George sounds so much bettwer a long time a go

  • @5:43 No George, we thank you!

  • Why they don't let Ringo Play this tune alone !?? we don't need phil collins as well ! :)

and that's the same in the Concert for George.. there is 3 drummers ... ! why ...?

  • Bassplayer is Mark King from Level 42
