This looks good though I was hoping by the title it was skewered seitan with a BBQ sauce. FYI since you are a veggie cook, seitan is pronounced: SAY-tan, and satay pronounced sa-TAY. Thanks!
@siobhanie64 Yea...I have heard it pronounced both ways (just like the word tomato has two different ways you can pronounce it) and the other ways to pronounce it and it is weird rolling off my tongue! Thanks for watching.
@musepigg Surprise, surprise....Satay is the name of the dish...not the sauce. Satay is a dish made up of marinated meat that is sometimes skewered and served with a sauce (doesn't have to be peanut). Most popular satay dishes are served with a peanut sauce. There is even a satay dish that is served with a sauce that is made out of Tempeh :) I hope this helps! Thanks for the support!
@canadianqueen76 Hey lady! I hope all is well. It really doesn't have a flavor (sort of like tofu). It absorbs the flavors and seasonings that you cook with. But the texture is more like a "meat texture" - very close to chicken. Sometimes you can seitan already seasoned and flavored from a specialty store. I would say give it a try. Let me know what you think!
1:40 and on its VERY skippy, I couldnt understand most of what you said until like 2:00 and then it skips off and on from there, anyone else having this issues? Im watching it in 360p

Where is the satay? I thought satay was a peanut sauce used in thai food.
