I bought a new screen but when I replaced it, the screen turns on but now it doesnt show anything but a bunch of red lines. I can tell the phone is on because when i press something the screen changes the red lines and i can hear the dial tone. What does this mean?!
@SanGil671 Could be 3 things. Either the flex cable is not fully in place, the wrong LCD version was installed into the Pearl, or the screen is faulty.
i have a question, My blackberry pearl screen like is completely black, and when i turn it on you can see the white part && lines show up, does that mean my entire phone is broken or, will the len changing help it?
my screen works it just doesn't have a backlight so you would have to use a flashlight to see the image on the screen does this mean that I need a new screen or is there a back light I can buy?
ya i was looking for one ont he pearl 8130 and i couldent find any dissasemble but this is a good one but he should do a dissasemble and a reassemble aswell

When i try to turn on my 8120 all it does is give me a steady red led and a black display....is it the screen that is messed up?

The lcd screen includes the blacklight. A new screen from RepairsUniverse (dot) com should get you up and running.
