JUST copying Alessandro Moreschi?? I know what you mean actually, and I agree he should try to find his own interpretation, but copying Alessandro Moreschi is pretty difficult for a guy with balls!
The sound quality here, sadly, is also comparable to Moreschi's version. Modern technology can do better.
chicomanel. i agree with you people who are saying that he isnt good with the sliding from high notes to low notes you probably have no idea how hard it is for a boy to sing notes like that so dont go acting like you guys are the greatest thing to ever hit the earth. he has definite potential. im a singer myself and im soprano I.
I can't stand the constant sliding up to the high notes. It takes away from the beauty of the voice, as well as the the song. There's definite potential there, but he definitely needs training.
i agree with chicomanel. Singing countertenor is somethin which your voice grows into at that age and he's doin well. keep it up, but maybe hold back slightly on the portamento
I'm myself a countertenor and I know how hard it is to beggin. This young man shows a lot of potential if well trained and he might achieve a superb timbre. All of you hwo wrote nasty comments only show cruelty and ignorance on what might be a good voice. Berhaps you don't even know how to sing a single note... that's sad.
horriale! a very pathetic attemp to sing soprano. He was slurring the whole time to hit the high notes. He should stick to mezzo or tenor. He is strainging his voice in soprano which could lead to damaged vocal chords, permanatly.
With regard to his age, he sings very promising. He has a natural feeling for phrasing and nuancing. The climax-high-note is very good. The sound of the voice itself is very expressive. In some years, it´ll be great.

After training, you can be a professional countertenor. Don't show off your high notes, work on your low notes.

meme si la tessiture est celle d'un soprano, le timbre est sans aucun doute celui d'un mezzo! une tessiture de mezzo serait peut etre plus adaptée !
cependant cela promet pour l'avenir!!
