@brig329 he used a JBL Crown A6000GTi amp it pushes 6000watts @4ohms and a wall socket only pushes 1780watts at 60hz i dont think he hooked it up to a wall socket cuz if he did itll last a few more secs

They're good subs. My cousin had a 12" 1300w in his Protege and he pounded the shit out of it for 2 years. Then he gave it to me and I pounded the shit out of it for another year. It was still working fine when I sold my car.
