(That was Lawford's own Dual-Ghia you saw him driving around in "The Thin Man" TV show on NBC in the late 50s.) It also inspired the later Ghia L6.4 built on a Chrysler chassis with a 383 V8 in the early 60s...another favorite of the Chairman of the Board...
The new Mercedes 300 sls has taken a couple of design clues at least from the side view.
