Okay first of all Spells Spells Spells Spells and More SPELLS Dood you really should use them some time it would make your experience with this game go sooo much Smoother. Of course your crazy get to higher places maneuvers are really good. Okay but instead of going around you could have just summoned that elevator to you. Did you know that? Oh and the Lighting Armor Sub Weapon only works on Enemies or something you can break. That is my favorite Subweapon in this game.

erm...at the shield rod room...u can also use spells :) ...like hellfire or soulsteal or tetraspirits :)

@TheSkesh FUCK YEAH! Hit both attack buttons while equipped with the shield rob and a shield. each shield does something different... especially the iron shield, and the axe lord shiled, and oh yeah the ALUCARD SHIELD.

@TheSkesh well, the knuckles are faster, but the shield rod can give you nice stats if you press both the shield rod and a shield' buttons at the same time, each one does something different

usually when i go for the shield rod, i usually use soul steal when i get it and just heal and kill at the same time.

You can get the ankh of life and the mystic necklage by double jumping and at your peak, turning into mist.

The sub-weapon that produces lighting - It wouldn't work because you didn't hit an enemy with it. Lighting will only show if you attack an enemy.

it's areas like that gauntlet where magic comes in handy... specially if you're running low on health, do the soul steal and boost your health while damaging enemies

I had to get the axelord armor from the librarian cause I was farming for this stupid armor on the spikeballs and not even ONE dropped, all I got were the stupid iron balls. I was farming those fuckers for about 2-3 hours XD. Got a couple of levels from them though =D

Man! after double jumping..

press down + X and alucard will do a super kick style "Power rangers" lol!!

and after that super kick he will jump on the enemy that was hitted and then u can use ur second jump again.. hope u undrstand me! Byeee!

6:10 you can actually get up there double-jumping until you get a little up from the edge and then use the mist-form ... it worked for me ...so you don't have to wait until you get the bat-form ... hope it helped

Stat increases on level ups are somewhat random. If it matters much to you, may may want to save and reload after leveling up until you get a stat increase that you are happy with. Best ones are +1 to all 4 stats, and +1 to 3 stats.

a funny little side note on the axelord armor, if you leave him to stand for a little while he will start thrusting his shoulders around and grunting as he does so, looks like a cha cha cha dance.

Up to 50 balls. I thought I should add that the Bone Pillar's rare drop is the Ballroom Mask. But if I level up again I'm forgetting this drop, or I'll come back & get it once I get higher luck.

tou can get the axelord armor by doing a super jump in the room below the librarian

you know, the one with a hole in the ceiling?

do a super jump there (down - up - jump with the gravity boots) and he'll give it to you

you can hit him many times (just do the next jumps while still in air but almost hitting ground) and he can give life max ups and Dracula's Tunic (a pretty goor armor for the first castle)

The vase at 06:09 ("This one I couldn't get, though...") can actually be obtained. Double-jump towards it and, as you're about to start falling back down again, hit the Mist button and float that last couple of inches onto the platform. One of the inaccessible vases in that room gives you the Ankh Of Life, which increases the effectiveness of healing items. Not sure if it applies to Soul Steal and Dark Metamorphosis, however... :)

intresting fact: in the room with the valhalla nights in the collesium, if you come in from the right side, there are only two axelords. but if you come in from the left side, there are three axelords. at least its that way in my game. :

The Damascus Sword and the Iron Shield would do maybe any of the work you may need, Holy Rod is better than the Diamond Knucle weapon, Diamon Plate gives you the best defense increase you can easily achieve, also the Damascus Sword is better and more powerful than the Holy Rod and the Diamon Knucle

There's also a another way of getting Axe Lord Armor by beating the game and typing AxArmor on a new game file. and crimeinpartner forgot the secret in the Colosseum where the blade masters are, by breaking the ceiling and you get a Holy Sword.

And yet another way to get an Axe Lord Armor is from the Librarian's "secret stash" that he hides under his chair; The only way to get it is with the superjump relix. XP

That's a total of 3 axelord armors you can get in the game. A lot of good it'll do, though. XD

Of course, if one insisted, I suppose it's possible to farm on the Spike Balls until you have 99 Axe Lord Armours. Goodness knows why anyone would actually WANT to get that many, though. (Other than for bragging rights, obviously.)

actually you dont need to farm the spike ball to get the axelord armor. If you use the gravity boots and keep knocking the librarian up the air from underneath him, you can get some good items like that axelord armor, draculas tunic, and i believe a life max up, if memory serves.

the spiked ball is easier though, it is weak vs. slash attacks, so using jewel knuckles makes it very easy

Also If you hold the attack button with the jewel knuckls, you hold them out in a defensive stance, which acts like on of those shields with attack power (dark shield, medusa shield) This owns the spike ball

And also, at this time, we don't yet have gravity boots :P

You need the Gold Ring (episode 15) and the Silver Ring (episode 18) and equip them both in the clock room in the middle of the castle

How did you kill that iron ball I can't hit it.

At first, you can only hit it for 1 point of damage as they have high defense. You may need to gain some levels before you can do a lot of damage. In my case, I used fists also which attack very quickly so I can stack on the damage fast. You can get an Axelord Armor later so it's not so important that you get one from the Spike Ball.

Hey crimeinpartner, I got the God's Garb while farming the Guardians for EXP in the process I gained about 20 levels and got 7 great swords LOL I beat the game and started a new game as Richter and damn it's hard but I love his special moves and of course I use hydro storm the most ;) I am looking forward to your next video.
