  • First Blood

  • avanger headshot one shot one kill

  • If that isn't an aimbot, I don't know what is...

  • sad how private jackson dies

  • @iceberg931 =D

  • Head shoot!

  • In the 60's when Carlos Hathcock DID shoot through that vc's scope that scope he shot through may have had about 3 to 4 lenses in it. You can shoot through a scope like that. Modern day american scopes most likley, the bullet will come close to going out of the back but will not go all of the way through. So yes and no, a bullet can go through a scope like that...

    MY SOURCE: MILITARY CHANNEL

  • @crayzzriggs i saw that i believe u

  • that's got to sting!!!!!!!!!

  • illogical.

  • 1Word Boooooom Head Shoooot

  • @TheKogutek thats 3 words idiot

  • @laurencemaher i say about Boooooom idiot

  • Carlos Hathcock!

  • owned

  • 30-06, owned.

  • it was possible with scopes from wwii and vietnam theses days its not i dont think

  • you can shoot through a sniper scope with a armor-piecing bullet.

  • IN DA FACE!!!!

  • what did you edit

  • HELL YEA!

  • Achievement: Pwn sniper through his scope - 100G

  • Jackson = one BAMF. Carlos Hathcock did this to an enemy sniper in Vietnam. Which of course means the enemy sniper was looking right at him, pulling the trigger. But Carlos fired first, like Jackson. Its amazing how close it comes

  • goodnight.

  • there was actually an account of a sniper getting shot through the scope by an american sniper in the korean war.

  • @TheAdmirableAdmiral It was Vietnam actually. When Carlos Hathcock killed the 'Cobra' sniper by firing through the PU scope on his Mosin-Nagant rifle.

  • epic headshot

  • he saw that but to late

  • its probably possible to shoot through a scope but if u can it would be hard

  • Thanks, makikomi :)

  • HOLY SHIT look at it at 24 seconds

  • @Nazgul100 just to tell u I think Mythbusters that show is bacially showing u the modern sniper rifle scopes that has multiple lense(3 or more). The scopes back then didn''t have that many lenses so it''s possible that a normal bullet can drive through the scope.

  • Thats so fucking epic. And as for those who imply Sgt. Hathcock was a liar, do a smidge of research on the guy. He was as good as they said he was and making a shot like this was both probably and within the scope of his incredible capabilities. I'll believe him before I believe any youtubers who say he couldnt have done it.

  • What's the bible verse he is quoting?

  • @cnpbiskit Looks like Psalm 25 verse 2.

  • What's the bible verse he is quoting?

  • ouch was that a springfeild rifle that pvt.Jackson had

  • @rambo7567 the good old 1903, A4 variant

  • Scene inspired by marine corps sniper Carlos Hathcock killing an enemy sniper called the "cobra" during the Vietnam war.

  • I believe Mythbusters did a followup experiment where they used a heavier AP round which was around durring WW2 and was in use by snipers, and they discovered that the heavier round did shoot through the scope. So it is possible if you're using AP ammo

  • You cannot shoot through a normal scope?? Ask Marine Carlos Hathcock before he died. Thats where this came from. Dick head.

  • What was the edit here? I haven't seen the whole movie, please tell me.

  • Pwned!

  • o my god i trust in thee...let me not be ashamed let not my enemies try and fool me, best line EVER!

  • it is possible to shoot through scopes from their time period but modern scopes are to large and has lots of lenses that stop the bullet

  • Love this scene, wathed this film over and over while is was a child

  • Didn't Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock, USMC, have a recorded kill of a VC sniper right through his scope?

  • i kinda like the way it was b4 it was more intense and you never say that part coming...i literally jumped when i saw it the first time

  • Cuck norris says...It can happen

  • BOOM HEADSHOT!

  • Good to see that fucking kraut get his fucking head blown off. Fuck

  • carlos hathcock pulled that shit a a vietnamese sniper.i think he was nicknamed the "cobra"

  • thats my favorite part of the movie

  • Thats what i call a headshot

  • excellent shot right inthe right eye from the german snipers view

  • All i know is i enjoyed seeing the German loose his mind.... way to go Jackson

  • fuck war fuck war... FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKER

  • i love that little sound after jackson shoots his rifle, sounds awesome

  • i heard that they tried this on mythbuster and it didnt work

  • yeah they did try the fist time it didnt work but the second time they used a more period scope and it worked because it had less lenses

  • because the chances of it were unreal but there were using modern dayscopes and those are more magnified so it would be harder to shoot through

  • the german sniper had the scope tuching his eye, so when he would have shot it would make him blind or have a blak eye

  • he didnt even see the other sniper.

  • @Freelancer591 he did at last minute and saw the flash

  • @Freelancer591

Heck, I didn't even see the other sniper.

  • German not french.

  • the guy in tower sniping, hejust got powned by the guy who sniped him through the scope to his eye

  • I loved this scene

  • you cant shoot through a sniperrifle scope with a normal bullet.

  • How do you know? because you watched an entertainment show (Mythbusters) and they said you can't?

  • a serius entertainment show that PROVED that you couldnt shoot tough a sniper scope, It simply have too many lenses for thebullet to penetrate them all even at point blank.

  • incorrect, they didn't test a kar68 or springfield scope, both of those have 2 spaced out lenses, they tested modern 6 lens scopes. i have seen a scope (a modern 4 lens 42x zoom) shot through with a hunting rifle it is definitively possible. Further more, US snipers were told to aim for the glisten of the scope; which makes this all the more likely.

  • well, Ive done some research, and appearently, the German snipers in WW2 used kar98k as thier standart weapon, these were mounted with a 2 X 5 Mauser 98K ZF-41 scope. So there you have it.

And I know they were told to aim for the glisten, but that only works in sunlight and that was only because the enemy snipers head would surely be close to it.

  • @StringBolt yes

  • @StringBolt yo i have a feeling any sniper rifle can go through a scope... what are the odds a sniper rifle can crack through a skull...

  • @StringBolt Well, I'd rather believe mythbusters than a movie. And its true. You really cant shoot through scope

  • @pyllywaltteri look up Carlos Hathcock. It may not be possible with modern scopes but during the Vietnam War he shot a sniper through the scope. It is only possible when both snipers are zoned in on each other, as was the case in the movie.

  • @StringBolt

You just can't man, comparing mythbusters to a hollywood movie?

A bullet cannot got through the scope,

    Carlos Hitchcock probably lied too.

  • @KohrsFM

Not all guns and scopes are created equal. Some have more lens then others. I'm certain that some sniper rifles can penetrate certain scopes. Can this Springfield penetrate the scope of this Karabiner 98k in reality? I have no clue.'

But don't be a fool and say Mythbusters test proves anything on this scene

  • @StringBolt Yeah.. there were so many other factors that could come in play, mythbusters were doin' it wrong. Anywho, thanks for re-editing it!

  • @pantyFLOSSER i agree, mythbusters are awesome, but they have done to many experiments wrong, i still watch the show its great, funny, and 99/100 times its right

  • @StringBolt it is possible

  • @StringBolt in that show they used a .22 and a 7.62 round sniper not a 30.06

  • @StringBolt dude, they straight up put the barrel of the fun right to the scope and fired. you cant get much more precision and power then that.

  • @StringBolt think so

  • @StringBolt Well they PROVED you can't by running several tests. It's pretty hard to believe anyway, unless you use a 50 and completely destroy the rifle.

  • @fatboybozo Watch the History Channel's take on it. It worked for them. And some guy even proved Mythbusters wrong on their video page.

  • @StringBolt they re-did it and you can on older scopes

  • @Nazgul100 Carlos Hathcock disagrees.

  • @Nazgul100

yea just not one from a barret 50 cal.

XD that bullet's so big it would cut a normal rifle probably in half XD.

  • @Nazgul100

What is a normal bullet? 9mm? .308 WIN? FMJ?

  • @Nazgul100 Yes, with the ammunition used by all armies after the 1904 Hague Convention you CAN shoot through a rifle scope. The cartridges are loaded with bullets that have a "full metal jacket" and don't expand or fly apart like a soft point or hollow point bullet would do.

  • @Nazgul100 it depends in the fortys they had simple p u scopes with little glass and metal and has been done by ex sniper carlos hathcock

  • serwis@csk.pl

  • @Nazgul100 who said? and that wasnt a normal bullet anyhow

  • @Nazgul100 yes you can, Carlos Hatchcock did it

  • @Nazgul100 Yes you can?

  • @Nazgul100 tell that to Carlos Hathcock...the guy who actually did and there is documented evidence to prove it...I love Mythbusters, but they can't always accurately reproduce the conditions in which it actually happened...

  • Remember the soldiers Prayer

I have prayed but one prayer to God Make My Enemies Foolish and God Granted it

  • I would hate God if he granted that stupid wish. No war is good. There is no good side or bad side.

    Fuck war

  • I'm german... pretty sure "I" didn't do that.. or at least I don't remember getting sniped =s

  • How was it edited?....its exactly the same as the original film scene you ponce!

  • Tell you what, instead of pointing out what I removed, why don't you go watch the scene again and figure out what I edited.

  • @StringBolt OOO! OOO! PICK ME!!! you edited out the dude on the ground talking!

  • @StringBolt u edited the germans scope

  • He cut out the bald guy screaming at each other.

  • you mean Caparzo

  • I dont know whats his name.

  • that must hurt

  • That sniper is hot, he also looks like the snooker player Mark Williams

  • You can see some of it in the background .. only the good die young

  • and thats with a 7mm rem mag and thats not much bigger than a 30-06 springfield...and considering how much training snipers go through...when they say their off day is a grouping the size of a dime...thats prety intense...

  • only about an inch to the left of where i was aiming...and that was at 250 yards...im pretty sure a 30-06springfield (what the springfields and m1's used) could but a show through 2 glass lenses witout much of a problem...especially when ive put clean holes through an iron water pump from 300 yards away...

  • guys iunno its pretty possible...like i know with my rifle i put a bullet through a tree by accident shooting at a moose but it still blew the top of its head off...

  • yeah its not possible but still awsome

  • it is possible seen as a springfield 1903 has bullet thats bigger than your middle finger and the scope the German infantry support sniper was using only had 3 prisms which makes the scope the same size as the bullet.

  • umm, maybe alot of of practice but other than that, an Extremely lucky shhot

  • Mythbusters was trying to re-create an actual report of it happening, and when they redid it, it actually worked.

  • it is not possible to actually shoot someone through a scope as they did experiment on this. the lenses in the scope will deflect the bullet. in myth busters i think they shot a rifle through a scope from like a foot away and the bullet didn't even make it through

  • you never know they could be lieing but you will never know

  • if you watch the mythbusters episode where they re-do some of the myths it goes from busted to plausible?

  • well... there was no wind, even though it was raining... he took his time aiming, so a well-trained sniper at a 100-150 meter distance could have done it with a hit chance of about a 30%...

  • i fucking love this scene, but a shot like that, if even possible, would take like forever to line up against a living target. Nonetheless it is still an awesome scene.

  • if you concentrate you'll notice that the german support sniper stops moving (like most snipers) to take the shot and jackson was already lining up the shot when the guy was moving.

  • fucking beauityful if sameone can really have the time to line up that shot the are the best marksman out there

  • wat a shot i love this movie

  • Ok no one won the Vietnam war.

  • yea sum1 did actually the vietcong did

  • whats re-edited from the original? dont see any difference..

  • Why people always forget, that american, and british(not russian) bombers destroyed the 60-70% of war factories and facilities in germany? Whithout that, the Red Army couldn't run over axis forces so easily, and the americans had to face bigger and better armies in the West too.But it's only my point of view, there are no buts and ifs in history.

  • @aseras

no they had not... 70 % of the regular german troops fought against russia... Hell they even fought to have a change to get into the west to be a prisoner of the allied... You cant think about what a prison in russia is for a hell.

  • Whats on the German's Rifle?Where can I get it?

  • hes just got camo on it wrapped round the barrell

  • what type?

  • probs some sort of ghillie suit thing for your rifle.

looks like its just standard jungle camo

  • It's just ripped-up burlap, an old potato sack.

  • Hell of a sniper.Wish he lived. The Jewish guy is cool too.

  • Daaaaayyyyuuuummmm Sooooooonnnn

  • love how in war films germans miss 9/10 times but allies allways hit em :)

  • Let some Germans make some war films glorifying their soldiers. o...wait...

  • show me one german war film where german soldiers are glorified!

    plz

  • There is few if none. Because they were "evil".

  • i hate people who say germans were "evil".

the nazi's were evil...its only because the nazi's were based in germany were germans considered "evil"

what about all the german jews? were they evil because they were germans? no.

What if England was also nazi, would WE have been evil?

I'm english and a teen, and if i can piece that together, i dont see why others cant... I guess people are to shallow nowadays...

i REALLY hate people who say "germans" were evil

    Nazis were

    germans were not. end

  • not every german was a member of the nzai party. General Rommel for intstance. not a member, but a military man with a sworn duty to serve his country.

if you fought in the Wehrmacht you weren't necessarily a nazi.

  • thats what i mea lol

not everyone who was german was a nazi, and therefore not all germans were/are evil.

so wish i'd have done history XD

  • yeah, (im not sure if this is true), but a lot of Germans were forced to join the Hitler Youth, and therefore the army

  • stalingrad and das boot

  • nice headshot

  • This scene kicks ass, but on the show mythbusters, they proved that you can not kill a sniper by shooting through his scope. Its weird i know, you think it would work, but they tested it, and the round destroys the scope, but does not penetrate.

  • mythbusters is bull, it's a bunch of hollywood special-effects guys. what they say isn't always true. how would you know if it worked? if you can shoot someone through a wall, why not through a scope? besides, what ammo was used? what was the distance? what rifle? weather conditions?

  • theres a whole person behind the wall, the bullet will obviously wont be very accurate through a wall unless u point a gun straight up against the wall. the thing with the scope is that it must go right through it, given the bullet travels parallel to the metal/wooden shell of the scope. the lens will add ddeflection or vertical component to the moving bullet, and the at fast enough, the bullet wont go through.

this is just what im guessing

  • That's what is so good about mythbusters. It's not theory its an actual experiment. You saw with your own eyes what a WW II rifle bullet does when it hits a WW II era scope from point blank range. Movies are full of historically inaccurate depictions. For example, how many men in this platoon were wounded as opposed to being killed. None were wounded and evacuated, they were all killed. Why? Because it makes a more dramatic story. Like a sniper putting a bullet through a scope.

  • exactly thank you

  • aha, i was right after all.

  • The Germans could have easily destroyed russia but they were underattack from all sides...They had to pull out to reinforce their other sides. Russia did fight bravely but stupidly.

  • The fact that Russia lost so many was not all down to the fact the Germans were tough. Granted the Germans were a force to be reckoned with but the majority of Russian deaths were due mostly to lack of training when the Russians first joined the war and the fact that alot of the officers shot their own men if they retreated. Stalin was quoted as saying "It takes a brave man to be a coward in the Red Army"

Anyways, history aside, Excellent video mate.

    5 Stars.

  • i also think america could have defeated germany on their own... they had much troops, great weapon industrie, endless supplies, their economy was unharmed...

  • Russia didn't beat Germany, Russia didn't push the German army out of North Africa, Italy, or Greece...America (and her allies) did it. End of discussion. Because Russia lost 20 million men fighting the Germans illustrates just how tough the German army was. CASE CLOSED.

No more revisionist history on my page or I'll ban you.

  • wrong the russians fought stupidly and did not use good tatics all they did was charge and many times russian did not have enough ammo and weapon for each solder so they had to take weapons off dead solders russian or german. also in ww2 russian also were starving back in russia so they started eating pets, and sometimes DEAD PEOPLE. so case closed

  • So did the germans on the eastern front, they ran out of food, so they resorted to cannibalism to survive.

  • hu cares bout history lol.. its a film :P and a good one at that :P and this is my fave part of the film tbh :D

  • but please can u credit the british than just calling them allies of america

  • I can...the Brits did an incredible job of fighting and defending England. Especially when you consider they were on their own (with help from Canada, remnants of Poland and France, New Zealand, Australia, India) and fighting on about four different fronts (Europe, Africa, Pacific, China). Well, maybe five when considering the Battle of Brittan.

I'm not sure too many other countries or people's would have had the gall or fortitude to stand as long as they did.

  • this is going back a while ago but dissers rock you faggot america could have beaten germany on their own IF they wernt fighting japan as well remember that the Us was wasting japan and still helipingf a bit in europe so when your all like of russia was in berlin first blah blah think about hpw america was fight 1 and a half wars not 1 like russia stupid asshole bitch

  • America also fought in northern africa.

  • yeah they did but it was mainly the british and aussies

  • your country had a nazi party, even during the war, which was very poular.

  • Its a re-edit cause in the origonal the snipers scope is a modern one and the crosshairs is differnt but people complained os they did this with a scope from back then

  • how was that a re-edit?

  • in the movie their is normally talking parts between carapazo, the guy that wants to send the letter to his dad, and some other guy. instead it's only the snipers.

  • ok thanks

  • good shot. I am going to be a sniper. 0-0

  • sucks to be him lol :D

  • owned

  • best shot ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • best shot ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucked that damn nazi up!
