  • Yes! So many guitars on stage! So many drum sets- this must've been so fun to put on!!

  • Where is Bob Dylan?

  • He wanted to attend but couldn't get out of his tour schedule. He played some tributes to George during his time at his concerts.

  • Thanks for the info.

  • my favorite George Harrison song (post-Beatles). I love all the performances of this concert, esp this one-how they all are synchronized and how Dhani is so into this song!

  • Wah Wah!

  • I Bet Paul McCartney Kinda Felt Akward When Playing This Song.

  • I love the way the guitarists and the drummers are in perfect synchronization. Not an easy thing to do when you have a "football team" of musicians on the stage.

  • It's funny watching Paul playing the song about himself. Geoge was helped by Paul alot, but things went pretty sour in the "Let It Be" stages. Atleast they made up later on. It's too bad Brian Epstein passed away because their leadership really conflicted after that. Paul was trying to hold it together & they wanted to go on their own ways. :O(

  • awesome concert

  • if keith moon was still alive, we would have been great in this

  • They look like they're having heaps of fun!

  • I love to watch Ringo play, he is such a good drummer.

  • This song and performance is the reason why "I LOVE ROCK N ROLL" till the day I die!!!

  • <3 Concert for George

  • Wah Wah rocks!

  • Who were all the different drummers here? I'm pretty sure I see Starr, Keltner...who else? In particular, who is the one with the half-balding head? Thanks Joel in Tucson

  • It is Jeff Lynne

  • I do believe it is Jeff Lynne singing... fantastically I might add

  • someone other than clapton is singing aswell, because i've seen clapton singing nothing while there was singing, i believe it may be jeff lynne (correct me if i'm wrong)

  • wasn't run of the mill about paul as well?

  • WOOW, clapton vocals on this one realy show how powerful claptons voice is, just amazing

  • Good of Paul to play in George's version of How do you sleep?

  • This song rocks. The high-energy smiling mood of everyone, the 3 drum kits in sync, the horn section, clapton on the wah-wah pedal..the vocals.. all A+ in my book. Any old politics aside, whatever they may or may not have been, I think george would still be happily singin "you don't see cryin!" May peace and love bless all the musicians who made this heartfelt offering to, and honoring of, George's music and spirit. - Special thanks and blessings to the musical director, Eric Clapton.

  • well put

  • Nice one

  • You can see Paul gritting his teeth, how he must have hated the song when it first came out!

  • gotcha, i thought it was him but i wasn't sure since i haven't heard many songs from him. Thanks!

  • love this song, who's singing it? Jeff lynne is one of them and so is Clapton, but it doesn't sound like them with the aggressive tone.

  • jeff lyne sings the main part and andy fairweather lowe sings the harsh bits

also marc mann on lead guitar on this track ( he does the solos)

  • Lol yes it had a lot to do with Paul. It was George's way of expressing himeslf after having a raw with Paul in the studio. Honestly I have no idea how such a collection of geniuses could coexist at all but they did it.

  • WOW, they mangled this song. Sorry George.

  • mangled ????maybe its not quite as good as the "bangla" version but this still rips it..cant recall this being on the video

  • Why do people pretend to see things that are not there? If this song was about Paul...do you really think they would play it with him present? "Being there at the right time'

Cheaper than a dime" ? After Pauls great emotional performance of "All things must past" and "Something"..do you think he grew up and you didnt?

  • there was always sibling rivalry between John Paul and George, they were together since they were teenagers. They all had their gripes with each other, like brothers do.

  • but also, like brothers, they never stopped loving each other.

  • I thought that the song was supposedly a dig about Paul? I love it, that the lyric "you made me such a big star" they choose to show a close up of McCartney!

  • How cool is this! Just love the DVD Been playing it alot lately.......

  • Are these guys enjoying themselves or what ?

  • It is a pity that there is no John

    Dhanni is the cooler

  • dhani harrison... you at?

  • Eric Clapton - guitars, musical director

Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty, Joe Brown, Albert Lee, Marc Mann, Andy Fairweather-Low, Dhani Harrison - guitars

Gary Brooker, Jools Holland, Chris Stainton, Billy Preston, Paul McCartney - keyboards

Dave Bronze, Klaus Voormann - bass

Jim Capaldi, Ringo Starr, Jim Keltner, Henry Spinetti - drums

    Ray Cooper - percussion

    Jim Horn - alto saxophone

    Tom Scott - tenor saxophone

Katie Kissoon, Tessa Niles, Sam Brown - backing vocals

  • the camera was FOCUSED on eric clapton when he wasnt even doing the guitar solo. lmao..

  • Tom Petty looks like he is having the time of his life.

  • Und jetzt brüllen wir alle mal gaaanz laut in die Mikros. Scheißegal ob wir dabei den Ton treffen oder nicht, bei einer derartigen Stimmung fällt das niemandem auf. Alles fertig? Los gehts!

    WAAAAH WAAAH

    Jawollinge!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Clapton Keeps looking around like, "You want me to take this solo? Think you can do better?" Petty just sits there and smiles at Dhani lol.

  • who's that guy with the hat next to Dhani?

  • jeff lynne from elo ( electric light orchestra )

  • cool, thank you

  • Na not the afro. The one in the black jacket behind dhani

  • you're either thinking of tom petty or andy fairweather low.

  • Ok thank you

  • No no neither Tom Petty nor Andy Fairweather have hats on so they're not the ones in question.

The guy in the little hat to the Stage right (Dhani's left) of Dhani is MARC MANN. He and Andy Fairweather did pretty much all the slide work on the night...

  • Yee! Didn't think Tom Petty and Andy Fairweather looked very much like that guy.

Thank you for clearin' that up!:)

  • Mark Mann and I think he is the one who did most of the lead on this song.

  • Great, thanks :)

  • lol they have so many drummers. Great concert

  • At 01:11 lol

  • wow theres a song called my name xD my names wah wah LOL

  • brillant. George was truly loved and he'll be a legend till the end of my days. :)

  • Clapton...and those 4 drummers...and that wall of sound....awesome!

  • 3 drummers

  • I never heard this song before but it's pretty good. It's totally cool when Ringo and the others are drumming in sync. Dhani Harrison is super hott!

  • Wah-wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

  • they did a good job with this song.

    dhani looks fantastic.

those 4 sets being played in sync is awesome =]

  • what is after this??? at the end it looked like dhani was gonna say something.

  • look at 'Dhani and Paul speak...' by Jagatinho... it's moving!

  • This is aawesomeeeeeeeeee

  • dhani obviously inherited an amazing voice from his father.

thank you george for all the great music you have brought to this world. May God bless you. You are greatly missed

  • Fantastic!!!! I wish I could have been there too. George was always my fave artist of all time! Love this song too!

  • I'm all teary - thanks

  • can you believe these guys? Unreal!

  • My fav song of the night

  • Dhani, Eric, Paul, Tom P, Jeff L., Ringo, Ravi, Olivia, Jim K... All these great people here for George...

He'll never die in my eyes, and we are blessed for him to be given to us, but taken too early...

Roy, John, George, Billy... Rest in Peace, and may we never forget you...

  • billy and gary booker is there to

  • Look Dhany, he really enjoy this song, I love George!!!!! Dhany is great for keep Father's memory alive. Love from Peru!!!!!!

  • Was Max Weinberg one of the drummers?

  • great!!!

    i wish i were here...

  • ERIC CLAPTON IS THE MAN!!!!

  • he played little on this song - he is god tho

  • WAH-WAH!!! I don't need no WAH-WAH!!!

Great song, but I like the original better ;)

  • I think it was Marc Mann playing the lead guitar. I liked all the drummers playing together also. Great concert!

  • no -- jim calpaldi, ringo, jim keltner and henry spinetti drummed

  • Christ, when I watch ANY of these numbers from this show, the hair stands up on my neck and arms, get a lump in my throat and become misty. To see all of these great artists and friends paying homage to George is truly heart-stirring...(gulp)inspiration to us all...

  • I bet George was there too, in his picture! and not just in this song but in all of them. especialy while my guitar gently weeps, his energy is so strong in that song i can feel it through the computer!!! also ViolinNinja77 is sooo right!!!!

rest in peace and happiness george <3

  • I love Eric Clapton, but Jeff Lynne has to be the epitome of coolness in this video!

  • oh yeah.

and considering that he produced the anthology...

  • looks like a fun time

  • I think this whole concert was just fantastic! Seeing all of George's friends and family and fans come together in song, showing how they really loved and appreciated him is just powerful!

  • I would have liked to see Dhani sing this. That would have been emotional.

  • I LOVE the shot at 1:00 of all the drummers in sync!!! SOOOOOO COOL!!!

  • I dig it !

  • Dhani is so pretty

  • dhani isnt pretty .he is beautiful and sexy

  • An all-star tribute to amazing George!! The guitar solo is Albert Lee!!! R.I.P. GEORGE!!

  • Albert Lee the country player?

  • I think it's Eric

  • This song might have been about Paul, heh.

  • oh gosh, the drums in this is just amazing

  • I don't hear any problems with the drums.

  • I don't hear any problems with the drums.

  • Clapton didn't actually play the solo. I don't know who did - clearly the camera crew were struggling to make it out too as they didn't get a single shot of the solo guitarist.

  • if you close i think tom petty did the solo

  • Nope, it wasn't him either. It's a mystery to me...

  • Marc Mann

  • I am an American, and I say, "I couldn't care less"...just for the rechord! This concert is a lovely tribute to a lovely man!

  • Why do you Americans

( and possibly Canadians ), use the phrase

    " I could care less " ?

The phrase is I COULDN'T care less, meaning you care very little.

To say you could care less means you care a lot..think about it America And Canada.

  • We have and I have to say that I could care less

  • LOL again - I see his point though.

  • LOL

  • yes it's a saying..which means nothing...kind of like your comment.

  • and i believe that replying to my comment makes urs mean sumthin too? i know ur gunna say the same thing about this, but please dont write it, else you'll just prove that you want attention.

  • First of all, I like RIngo.

There are three dremers on the stage.

But, I just feel like it's DOUBLE drums.... sorry Ringo.

Ringo is the best for the Beatles, I think. But when I hear such as Jim keltner's drum on George's song, amazingly strong and good.

  • We don't need you wha-wha Paul. It's very joking.

Paul, I love you so much

  • Incredibly awsome concert. We watch it everytime we need an uplift in Spirit. Such Beautiful energy. Geroge was there, for sure.

Thanks so much. We Love you guys!

  • George Harrison is, by far, my favorite Beatle.

  • rock never dies.

  • But THEY do

  • Yeah, but I don't know many dead people who are always heard singing and playing music in just about any house you go to. lol

    This stuff is forever.

  • Many people listen to what they DID

  • Then you would think they would learn,..umm

  • and you2

  • You're an ass

  • Who is the guitar player with the hat?

  • That would be Mark Mann

  • Or maybe he means Jeff Lynne?

  • chi sono questi buffoni?

  • this is coolness xD

  • I liked when when during the line "You may be such a big star..." the video cuts to a shot of Paul playing piano. He knew the song was about him. You can see it in his face, trying to look nonchalant.

  • My God...what a concert of strings...

  • paul is so loud

  • Thats not paul, its the one guitar player guy

  • Dhani Harrison

  • george harrison's son

  • George's son, I believe.

  • I believe the gentleman you're asking about is session legend Albert Lee, playing his signature Ernie Ball model.

  • I love how they put this right after "My Sweet Lord" and right before "I'll See You In My Dreams" so it's kinda like, ascent to heaven, nirvana, denouement.

  • gosh dhani is so cute

  • This is by far my favorite concert.

  • Song is made for Mccartney

  • all te drummers im laughing everythime with 01.00 its funny

  • lol yer X)

  • You know everyone sounded great, but there's only one person who can sing this song, and we all know who that is, right. Only GEORGE.

  • George's son, Dhani? Man at first I thought it was George! I thought, how in the hell...?!! You're right, DNA is weird stuff.

  • lol its DNA maybe

lest we forget, George is apart both Christianity AND Hinduism

so im thinking, Dhani is George's Reincarnation.

    sounds crazy but it works

  • I loooooove this song

  • Jeff Lynne's voice is the best!

look at 1:30, looks like Clapton laughs of Lynne's voice, but in a good way!

  • Maybe he thinks Jeff sounds a bit like Clapton himself, I think he does in some parts

    Jeff is great!

  • Jeff Lynne is to Eric Clapton's right. He produced many of George's album's & The Beatles Love album as well as sang with George, Tom Petty & Roy Orbison as The Travelling Wilbury's.

  • Yes, i know - Jeff is my absolutly hero! 'comois' ask at the 4 guys on the right from Tom and Dhani!

  • WOW, what a f...g great song!!!! Jeff Lynne realy sings his soul out of his body, i love his voice!

Witch guy you mean? It standing 4 guys there! The guy on cap is Marc Man, the other....?

  • where because tom petty was there but i don't see another long grey haired man

  • did Dhani sing a lead vocal in the concert at all?

  • no he didnt!

  • This song is amazing and I think its so weird how much dhani looks like george!

  • hi Kfarmarco, its probably because George was his father, strange stuff this D.N.A....your a billion years old today.

  • This song is the epitome of the Wall of Sound. Try playing it at full volume in a small room; the walls will literally rattle!

  • Did anybody notice George's son Dhani? I hav'nt read any comments about him. Like maybe we might be hearing music of his own in the near future or that he looks exactly like his father. That's all.

  • I think that was Greg Allman, of the Allman Brothers.

  • Such a fun song. Perfect for getting rid of the "I'm pissed off with you" mood. I don't need your wah wah. ;)

  • If it's the guy with the long straight hair you're talking about, could that have been Tom Petty? He was with George on the Traveling Wilburys. Just a thought.

  • Yep, you're right it's Tom Petty.

  • What IM wondering is,why the HELL did they use 3 drummers????I mean,Ringo kicks ass,he doesnt need backup....

  • its all the people that played with him or were friends with him

  • Ahh....well,that makes sense ,then...why didnt I think of that...hehe...thnx

  • This version of "Wah-Wah" is a little too rushed.

  • I'm sure Paul could care less, George wasnt as good a song-writer as Paul Mccartney or John Lennon he knew it. Yeah he had some good songs but ANYONE would have trouble competing with those two. He needed to leave the Beatles so he wouldd have a chance to shine.

  • Christ, are you an idiot? George's songs have as much relevance and universal appeal as either Lennon or McCartney. And, I could swear I don't see any concerts of this magnitude staged for Lennon or McCartney. This is about George, not Lennon or McCartney, have some respect.

  • Goodness touchy, Not really to both the idiot and George's relevance/appeal.George had one great album his entire solo career. John and Paul wrote 90% of the beatles and had amazing solo careers. I'm not putting George down, listening to this concert has given me a new appreciation for his songs. I was only commenting on why should Paul care if Wah Wah was about him, the bad feelings are long gone and he has nothing to prove to anyone.

  • That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. Yeah, John and Paul wrote the most Beatles songs, but the songs that George and/or Ringo wrote, were some of the greatest. Someone said "Something" is the best love song ever written, and I enjoy listening to "Taxman", and "Handle With Care" by The Traveling Wilburys (which George was in, and helped write).

  • Frampton wasn't there, maybe you mean Albert Lee?

  • is that georges song... the real young guy on guitar next to clapton playing acoustic?

  • Yepp. Thats Dhani Harrison.
