I am glad to see he went back to have his right ear pierced. Boys look so much nicer with both ears pierced rather than only one. When my so had his ears piered we never even considered piercing only one ear.

WAY TO GO!!! I am SO glad you took him back and got his right ear pierced. He looks MUCH better with earrings in both ears. The one ear only thing looks incomplete and off balance. Guys should seriously think about having both ears pierced. It absolutely does NOT make you gay or make you look gay either. The days of only gay guys wearing earrings are long over, and the trend today is for guys to wear earrings in both ears.

Hope he keeps his ear piercings and enjoys them!!!

I'm not a big fan of "gunned" piercings. I had to have my first hole done 3 times -- and still ended up getting it RE-pierced with a needle. More power to the kid if he was able to heal that thing =)

The only way the hole wil close is if you take the earrings out too early. I got mine done with a gun waaaayyyyy back in 1986, before piercings gained popularity, and it never closed. All my other piercings have been done with a needle. I have both ears twice and nipples(12 ga).

I tried to take him to get it done with a needle but he freaked out when he saw it, so we went to the mall. I wanted to do it right but he was scared a bit. He's only nine so take it easy on the kid. At least he did it. I'm very proud of him.
