  • thank you SO much for uploading this-I adore it!

  • beautiful, almost haunting melody that is completely different from the recorded version. nice.

  • <3 accent

  • Bizarre, this serene version of a punk song (the other way round is more common). Quite good, though.

  • At John Peel's funeral, on November 12, 2004, in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The service ended with clips of him talking about his life and his coffin was carried out to the accompaniment of his favourite song: The Undertones' Teenage Kicks. (In 2001 Peel had written in The Guardian that apart from his name all he wanted on his gravestone were the words, "Teenage dreams, so hard to beat", from the track's lyrics.)

  • Yup, I was standing in the crowd outside, with my brother.

I think this cover promises much at the beginning, but never really delivers. But it is different.

The best cover I've heard so far is the "St Trinians" version.

  • R.I.P. John Peel! We miss you!

  • Wasn't John Peel the radio broadcaster? What does he have to do with Seabear?

  • this (well, the undertones' version) was reportedly john peel's favorite song
