  • I kinda want to try that... But I'm thinking on my golf cart before my bike.

  • someone took red green a little too seriously

  • Everyone know you apply the tape rolling the wheel forward, not backwards!

  • total dick

  • Idiot

  • What was the idea ???? Using duct tape on a motorcycle tire, probably one of the dumbest thing I never saw... Seriously bro, I don't mind that you hurt yourself doing stupid thing like that but you should have hurt somebody else while riding with your "new" rear tire... Think about it next time you do something like that...

  • No ride video?

  • what? no aftermath?

  • Smoke another doobie next time before you work on your bike...you're almost there partner.

  • Well obviously the problem is that you wrapped it in the wrong direction, putting the tape AGAINST the rotation. You should try wrapping it the other way and doing a power slide to warm it up.

  • Duck tape brand is the worst brand of duct tape ever. 3M muchos better. Trust me, I'm the DuctTapeMessiah...

  • Quick!! Call Jeff Foxworthy!! We have a new definition of "redneck"

  • Dontchew meen motorcycle 'tar', boy?

  • When's the funeral?

  • Red necks always find a way....

    to look like idiots.

  • if it works for only 4 miles, a new tire is a lot cheaper imho.

  • Lol that is all!

  • it's DUCT tape!!! not duck tape.

  • @witchdoctor575 well then, that just null & voids anything else about this video!

  • @witchdoctor575

    It's both.

  • @witchdoctor575 in fairness duck tape is a brand of duct tape, probably one of the more popular brands at that...

  • Comment removed

  • This type of tape is referred to as duckt tape, defined as a fabric tape with rubber based adhesive. It is also sometimes called duck tape, probably because in some countries it is manufactured by the Duck Oil Company.

  • @witchdoctor575 How do you know he didn't use Duck Tape? Are you some kind of wizard or something? Or are you to stupid to realize there is a brand of duct tape called Duck Tape?

  • @witchdoctor575

Actually theres a company out there from Japan thats making a "Duck Tape" as a brand name- I laughed, nice marketing gimmick

  • Whatta fuck are you doing?

  • it was effective, safety was no issue as i only used it an hour on a closed track. traction was shit, but was able to handle it well so, yes it works. if you want to use duct tape then use it, other wise fork out a few £'s to purcess the tires.

  • Heres a little example of home hospitality redneck style yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa

  • Should have just put that boat trailer tire on it. damn.

  • It would have been much easier if you just had someone start the bike & put it in gear to wrap it once you got one wrap on.

  • @cbxturbo He would have had to have the bike in reverse tho, Doh.

  • @cbxturbo

yea and loose a hand in the preocess

  • @cbxturbo

yea and loose a hand in the process

  • Wow. I mean, I can see that to get the bike to the tire shop that's a few miles down the road... but how stupid are you?

  • That's tire repair REDNECK STYLE!!! hope you were just kidding!!!

  • You have GOT to be shittin me! Did you honestly believe this was a remotely good idea??? Darwin's Law will get you for sure - we can only hope it is before your idiocy kills someone else.

Turn in your keys, and your M class (LOL - likely you don't have one), cause you are DONE riding, Pal.

  • It worked for about 4 miles , It has no traction and kept sliding around .

  • @Mandolin1234 Next time try some of the spray on pick up bed liner, Rhino or something like that. That will work for at least 6 miles and will have a little more traction than duct tape. Of course, being the cheap bastage you are, you probably used the cheapest tape you could buy. Try Gorilla Tape next time.

  • @Mandolin1234 obviousley it has a flat surfice

  • That actualy does work. tried it lol

  • @vassili1987

    Define "work".

  • @kneedragger29

    Work may refer to:

Human labour: * Employment * House work * Labour (economics), measure of the work done by human beings * Manual labour, physical work done by people * Wage labour, in which a worker sells their labour and an employer buys it * Work (project management), the effort applied to produce a deliverable or accomplish a task....

let me know if you want more =D

  • @vassili1987

Do you feel any of those definitions apply to the application of a household tape to a vehicles power transmitting tire? Do you feel yours was an effective repair? The way i see it is that a plug or a patch repair come with their own caveats even though their presence is not perceptible while operating the bike. It would seem that the tape could hamper traction & safety.

So, yes, please, elaborate on your association of the word "work" with regards to such a repair.

  • You can't fix stupid

  • The only thing that would make this better would be one or the other having a longneck in their hand. About as redneck as it gets... LOL

  • Sometimes you do what ya gotta do.

    Walking, comes to mind.

  • Tires cost muney, shut the heeel up baby!

  • you hit a wet spot u going down!!

  • LOL define redneck

  • whats the point??

  • Barely !!! The tire had no traction and kept trying to slide around .

  • Good advise in the description. Let me know if he survives...
