Tenía buena voz pero hacía que pagasen una entrada que costaba un dineral para que vieran cómo actuaba drogada y al 40% de sus posibilidades en decenas y decenas de ocasiones, decisión egoísta. Amy was one of the best talents of the decade.. her deprecators should judge her by her music not her lifestyle.. she sings from within a genre not imitation. & I suspect that some of the negative comments directed at her are not based on an unbiased assessment of her talent but a general prejudice directed at all non-white female artists.. ie. they are indirect racist opinions of all African American music artists.

My take on her was.... Skinny, butt ugly Jewish girl who thought she could sing black... Absolutely zero stage presence.. And in the end not couldn't even fall back on the voice, which was never that good if we are being brutal.
Lots of kids loved her due to the fact that she was a drug addled alcoholic and that, rightly or wrongly, is what they want out of their celebs these days...

The trouble with Winehouse was she couldn't live up to the hype surrounding her. People were comparing her to greats like Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald etc I had nothing against her personally but she clearly was not in the same league. Also she often looked hideous with those twiglet legs and that ridiculous hair.
