Surf Fishing is a fucking stupid waste of time. Cape Point is too crowded and full of sub-moronic idiots that don't know what they are doing. Just look at the beginning of this video with the dumb ass with the spinning rod whose tangled up the guy who has a fish on. He's pretty typical of what's out there. Just look at Cape Point as well, why anyone would would want to deal with those crowds is beyond me. I think it's funny as shit that Cape Point is or was closed.

I am glad that the folks in this vid were not pro fishermen, cause it goes to show that anyone can catch a fish in the right spot with a lil luck..Every person that I've ever seen or heard knock other fishermen, generally cannot carry the towel for wiping off the ball-sweat for those that really know what they are doing.. I hope you stay miserable.

@FishMilitia Yeah That was exactly what I was saying. I fished the point for years as I have been a Hatteras Island resident for combined time of 10 years. I lived there twice once as a kid and another a couple of years ago when I was a mate in the Hatteras charter fleet and the Oregon Inlet fleet. I could give you references of guys I mated for in both fleets if you need.

i live kill devil hills,nc and every year go to the point to fish for drum. standing on the point in the water getting pounded by waves makes it that much more fun. at the point it is a shoal which is always rough and perfect for drum. and sirsexydouche its called a drum because it drums, same with a black drum. do yall call them blackfish?
