  • Video is fake. We know PS2 cannot run Bioshock. We also know Bioshock wasn't made for PS2 either. You got another person somehow playing in the background.

  • no no, sorry my fault, just thought for a moment that BS1 was natively for ps2

  • @1111cyclopes Yeah?

  • yeah you reversed-ingeneered a complete game and re-programmed 90% on the game to run on a extremely closed and different platform like the ps2 just to play it...on the ps2. Sorry but I cant believe you managed to do it (if its possible), or at least that you had the time/patience to do it (its a job of more than thousands hours.)

  • guy like you did to run bioshock on the PS2?

  • Fake, but cool but you will ask ¿how do you know?

Simple: PS2 is ON and a ps3 is on too but IN....

dah! someone behind you is playing ps3 that's hidden somewhere

    FAKE

  • If HDLoader could run something like a .daa, it could potentially run this just as well, am I correct?

  • @IBreakGames Or you could just mod a game so heavily that it looks, plays and feels like Bioshock, but really isn't.

  • @IBreakGames if I exported the game that way, yes. and you're right in your other comment, you can downgrade textures and replace the engine so it feels like BIoShock. you just have to know how to replace the engine. developers do this for games for multi consoles (like madden games made with different engines for both ps2 and xbox 360)

  • @TrantaLocked does ps2 modchip has «expiration time» or it always works ?

  • cool video for ps2!

  • it's fake

  • Hahaha the xbox Is on the top of the tv dumbass

  • THE GRAPHICS ARE TOO GOOD FOR A PS2 WHAT THE FUUUUUUUCKKK

  • video...

  • that is fake ps2 cant do that and no you didnot

  • @gabster90806 Nvm I think it was a Rosie.

  • @gabster90806 Well Rosies are big daddies

  • Lol nice...you even killed a Big Daddy...I think o.o..

  • poor framerate. :(

very impressive skill you've got there though. :)

  • Fake, obviously. The PS2 isn't capable of handling so many polys and shader effects.

  • @blakegriplingph I modified the shader engine

  • @TrantaLocked - No freaking way, seriously. Especially if you tried to port an x86 game to the Emotion Engine.

  • Oh yeah youre the programmer blah blah you reprogrammed the game, converted the code for ps2 blah blah

  • @Strauss234 correct.

  • @TrantaLocked tell me how you change the codes for ps2 plz

  • @flipy203 I created my own software with C++. You'd have have my software which I won't give you and you'd have to be proficient in various forms of game design and script writing.

  • ps2 information what are the requarments on ps2 like procesor video card sound card you know

  • The PS2 has 1/5 the power of the PS3, so even with engine modifications and what PC gamers would call "lowest settings," I still get pre-30FPS. This game is not at all designed or optimized for the low power PS2 hardware, and I had a ton of trouble getting an image to even show up on the screen.

  • what is the ps2 system information?

  • what do you mean?

  • I've always been wondering if this could be done :)

I say this is a really nice project, and I too have one of those mod chips, I think it wouldn't heat up if you changed the vent on the ps2 or perhaps add one ... IF that can be done,Since I'm no programmer or developer or anybody in a matter of fact,I wont say anything except ,good luck on what you do,it works :)

  • i call bullshit

  • think what you want to think

  • Who the hell would want to play it on the PS2?

  • OMG i got ps2 i want this to work on it show me how pls.

  • Ps2 is holy Crap !

  • Skategirl suck my balls yo.. u kno uwant too

  • -_- the PS2 CANNOT write to disk

Second, Bioshock requires resources only the PS3, 360, or PC can provide.

    third, um..no..just plain..no.

  • @silverfang387 I put in a writer/reader laser combo when I added the PS2 mod chip

  • @TrantaLocked i think its real sense if you ripped it, it would most likely be the pc version, and it is, if you have ever played bioshock on 360 you can tell

  • @ThEc00lGERble

ur ghey and teh ps2 ownz tez shiuuttz

  • i play the game in my ps2 i Buy The game 5/5

  • @ianfvs I never sold any copies. Are you a programmer?

  • how?

  • information says it all

  • u guys are fucking morons... hes playing it offa a 360 or ps3.... he juss hooked up his p2 to make it look like hes playin it.. god common sence... ppl god damn

  • Chill the crap out

  • teh lolzorz

  • I don't believe it my self, but hey who am i to say what's posible and what's not, i wish it was true, because then the ps2 would be immortal.

  • More like the computer is immortal.

  • You are running this on your crummy 7100 nVidia card on your PC. It would take a team of programmers who have access to the source code to accomplish this.

  • Are you saying my computer is hooked up to my TV and it is hidden some where? :\

  • no no no, im saying you must have a team of developers in your bedroom with access to the source code.

  • That is a fallacy, a false judgment; a sweeping generalization. Did that Jack guy do it with a team of developers?

  • This is absolutely fake, you have no idea how the PS2 runs. Jesus christ you people are retarded.

First of all you CANNOT save data directly onto a disc using a game console you fool, you'd require a dvd writer which the PS2 does not have.

Second of all, you can't directly rip a game of the PC and run it on the PS2. Especially when all the textures require pixel shaders that the PS2 can't render, and in addition the PC version of Bioshock uses DirectX, the PS2 has its own arcitecture.

  • Hey thanks for the input :) You may be right in some respects, but you are also wrong when you don't realize what is possible when you have a computer. I did not directly rip the game if you read the information. This version of BioShock is not using Pixel shader 3 or DirectX, I modified the architecture to run on the PS2's hardware. About the DVD writer, what can I say? I did not modify the disk drive or reader, but the PS2 still runs the software I have loaded that saves the game to the disk.

  • this cannot be real Oo the ps2 suffers when rendering Pixel Shader 2.0, so how could it render Pixel Shader 3.0 without framerate lost Oo

  • First of all, there is some lag it just is hard to see in this video. It is not rendering with a complete pixel shader 3, it is a custom modification, so I can't say what because it technically doesn't exist outside of my computer. I'll call it Pixel Shader 3b.

  • anyways great job, you should share it xD its seems more playable than my 9500 GT oo

  • I want one!!!

  • Sorry man!

  • hey whats up brian nice vid show me how to do that hahah

  • realrealrealrealrealrealreal...

  • Cool story, bro

  • Thanks.

  • Thank you. Pretty cool stuff.

  • Big daddy almost raped your black ass

  • Because saying I have a black ass is necessary.

  • Hell yeah!

  • Jesus fuck you guys are fags. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it's impossible. Grow up.

  • Thanks man. Some people just don't understand that there are such things as mod chips -_-

  • Cock Joke.

  • Your faggy bullshit can be smelt from a mile away.

  • I know. I added a special sauce to make the aroma more arousing.

  • sweet!

  • Thanks :D
