@Kevassa02 I could understand not healing for Cless, Kratos, and Ruca, but in general healing doesn't really break the game even in multiplayer unless you're those said characters. Super Armor is much more broken than the Healing factor.
But why doesn't healing break the game you may ask? Because you have Overlimits. I played this game to death between its release date and December and I used to think the same way Kev, but thankfully healing is pretty fair for most characters. Note "most" lol.
@Kevassa02 Super Armor allows people to take one entire hit without staggering (they still take hp damage). The downside is that it costs like 150SP to equip. I'm not saying healing isn't broken, but think about it; those characters are squishie. Ones like Cless, Kratos, and Ruca are a lot more broken because they have the highest defense stat in the game, yet can still heal. I do agree that First Aid spam is nuts though, but a good Hi-Ougi will destroy most characters who can heal fast. ;)
@Kevassa02 This I too am baffled on. The only lead we have for figuring it out is that Philia does cast a spell right before she is hit. It baffled me so much that I turned the game on again a few minutes ago. This is one thing I can't figure out. I hope it's not an ability I'm overlooking; though any ability to stop Overlimits should cost a ton of SP imo. Shall we discuss more VS in the inbox so that we don't clog up the comments?

If you ever get VS, you can always call me for some multiplayer. :3 I actually hadn't even noticed the thread on the Tales Forum until a couple of days ago. I figured this game suffers from lack of players since I only managed to play with 3 people from GameFAQs regularly when the game was new.
@Matsute I don't know what Nore uses, but when the game was new I used PlayStation 3's adHoc Party program (which is free to download if I recall). I knew about XLink Kai for years, but never got it to work. Probably because I was just doing it wrong.
At this point I can't tell if there are more PS3 users or more XLink Kai users.
@Matsute People only play this on PSP. What adHoc Party does is utilize the PS3 so that the PSP can actually play online. The PSP can't do it by itself except for really shitty games people don't care about. The people I played with were from GameFAQs.
@boredtodeath55 Maybe you can cancel a Spell hi ougi when its about to be done (notice how Philia´s face changed to attacking face before being interrupted), I know Shing was "staggered" due to guard cancel on Cless part (which I doubt can be cancelled through overlimits)
haha, you coulda' won if you ran at the last 10 seconds there. xP

Just go defensive stat build for Cless with Center and faceroll like 80% of the character roster.

Despite what you said, I´ve seen really broken uses for Harold/Mint/Tear insta casting healing spells and healing a decent ammount of HP
