Yeah you defiantly shouldn't fly on Sunday anymore, especially in Utah. You're better off staying in the valley drinking watered down beer and not being able to watch girlie shows cause the local cable company blocks the channels. You could also go to one of Miller's movie theaters and not see whatever movie he thinks is offensive. I'll end on a positive note. Utah is beautiful and hang gliding is amazing.

Never have a last flight for the day.Always quit on your second last flight.Too many people stack it on their last flight.

Its been a long time since I flew, but a basic rule for nil wind takeoffs is 'pull in and run like the clappers!'

It happened because he didnt get enough airspeed (nil wind, didn't or couldn't run enough). The right wing started to stall so he pushed the bar out (which made it worse) and was luck to get away with it.

One Question: why do you start at a downwind phase? (didnt you see the little vane in the Grass or what was wrong with you to try a start at bad conditions) Great Luck that you didnt smack in the Ground!

so close. Sunday didn't have anything to do with it. there is no difference between Sunday and any other day when it comes to Hangliding or any other outdoor activity.
