My (rejected) Entry for AMV Hell 4

No wonder it got rejected, it has too many animes. AMV Hell is supposed to have a series of short clips using a single anime for each clip, you just kinda mushed a whole lot of them together.

Yes they're all awesome animes, but you missed what AMV Hell was looking for.

I bet the biggest issue with this song was that it was in its most basic form a continued loop of the same rhythm and lyric. In other words, you could have had only fifteen seconds or so of the song and had a better chance of getting accepted. At least, this was the primary issue i found with this video.

Maybe the person exploding into blood at the beginning was too graphic? Other than 2, 0, and Divided by Zero they try to keep out excessive blood or adult content.

Well, the thing is, if you don't count the 5 seconds of the intro that would not be included in the submission, the total length of this was 27 seconds. This was well within their time limit.

Probably got rejected because you used more than one anime. I base that deduction on the fact that they took some AMVs that were craptacular compared to this one.

He's probably right, then tended to stay away from non-plot multi amv songs. You didn't tie the song in with the anime, you just put a bad ass song with some good anime. It makes for a decent AMV but nothing spectacular. As someone else said, it would make better as a full length AMV but the concept is old.
