  • When I first watched Evil Dead when I was 11, I was deeply moved by it. I thought it was poignant and sadly tragic.

  • Hes dealing with this well being how young he is there.

  • It's also worth mentioning it's up to the individual mind to act upon brash and sometimes needles impulses... It's absolutely absurd to insist that movies and media influence violence and not the individuals commit such heinous acts. The fictional is just that, it is fictional, it is the irrational formulated by the individual that commits not the rational. Simple.

  • Are you fucking kidding me? I was going UUGGH through this entire thing! They're slamming The Evil Dead and slamming Evil Dead II before it's even out and tons of slashers have come out before it and lots of them don't get jack shit. God that man didn't even let Sam talk near the end! Poor Sam indeed.

  • Imagine if they saw today's movies back then

  • Haha, they were trying to find someone who didn't like the film and it took them three tries.

  • gratuitous violence is by definition unnecessary. if he hasnt seen the film, how can he possibly know weather its necessary if he hasn't seen it

  • poor sam

  • i remember watching this thanku 4 posting it..

  • The guy who compares it to Joseph Goebbels looks like Hitler! this is insane!

  • @joncross26 Not Hitler as much as Jimmy Carr.

  • as a Brit can I apologise for these over serious loonies talking twaddle. Poor Raimi....
