how long did it take ur male to blow that nest? B/c my male's blowing bubbles but they keep popping tho. do u have any tips on clues why they are popping?
plpz dont ignore this comment dude plz i hate my life me and my dad love to watch ur videos but its just that my male fish kept makeing bubble sthen all the sudden they alll popped and idk y its getting me mad becuz i worked so hard to breed them and my female fish might explode if she dosnt get her eggs released what do i do hes not makeing bubbles and the females face is all dark red and horrible dude what did u do there in a 1 gallon tank plz dont ignore me man plz i beg of u plzzzzzzz
i set up my 10 gallon tank for betta breed. i separate them by using a divide but it seem the male move around too much and doesn't care about the female. the water high is about 5-6 inch. did i did anything wrong or do i have to waite longer?
first of all don't use a divider. try using a thing of chimney glass or like a glass cup and put her in it. then put it in the middle of the tank so he will be able to always see her. but what u need to do is make sure the female is ready to breed, like if her chest is fat or bulging with eggs, and then u have to make sure the male is been conditioned too. so if u did that what u do next is keep her in that cup and put half a styrofoam cup in the tank and wait for him to build his bubble nest.
i have this problem 2 my make betta attacks the female and the female always is running a way i have a 10 gallon tank to and my male already made a bubble nest someone helo me
yea i have this problem 2 i have a 10 gallon tank and i ahve a male and a female in there. the male is always chasing the female and the female doesnt pay much attention to him. wat do i do
can anyone help me, ive got two females and a male. the male is in a seperate tank than the females and ive set the tank up for breeding. he doesnt build a bubble nest at all. why is this?
get an empty fish tank fill it with water get a heater put the female in a container in the tank and get a styrophome cup put in a cornor of te ank put the male in the tank so he can see the female and make a bubble nest when u suspect his finnished hest bubble nest let the female go in with the male and the mae will harass it but a few hours or a day shell come up to the bubble nest with her head down and tail up and presto the start breeding.
They will breed anytime of year in captivity. Just get the water level about halfway in a 10g then heat the water to about 80F. Of coarse there is a little more than that to it.
did they hatch? my first spawn, I had only one survive and she has a spine curvature. she's about 9 months old now, and i believe she is full of eggs. breeding her would be way too stressful though. my second spawn, i have 8 babies. they are about 3 months old.
when u r mating u should NEVER turn on ur filters....they will sometimes suck ur eggs and then the only way to get them out without hurting or breaking the egg is to get a turkey baster and put them back in the tank...
or a pipet. but i have a filter for my babies that runs on air-bubles that you turn down REALLLLLY low so they don't get sucked into it. i have ONE baby left. let us all focus our energy in it's survival. i feel like such a failer.
yep he will, ive tried breeding bettas 3 times and everytime i misserable fail. Its reakky hard, i even had the right equipment. Betta have pereferences in women just like men.
but not all the time u should take the female out of the tank and feed her like u normally would then after 4 days take the male out and then u may let the fry do whatever on their own but feed them but not before 2 days because they will be either eating the inforsia or will still be eating their egg yolk...
a betta abortion seems easier than a humans.

Hey why does my Female betta is always like getting bitten is it just like that?? and than theyll breed after?
Joshua21300 4 years ago
the male needs to show the female that hes the dominate one. so he hurts her to show-off his dominance. i know right weird???

the system of filtering seems to be frusterating them when it blows the eggs away.

The female does not kill the male. The male may kill the female protecting the nest if she is not removed.
jourdy288 4 years ago
hey ive always wanted 2 do this! but ive heard that the female kills the male after they hatch? did that happen 2 you?
how many do you have now?
how many do you think hatched?
tomashton1 4 years ago
lol no, doint worry, u need 2 take out the male after the eggs hatch and become fry, the mother wont hurt her young
jeff2114 3 years ago
so if you leave the male in with the young he will eat them?
