I've done this myself on a regular server in Ironforge. You need a mage to sheep you in a certain area in the center by the entrance to the outer ring by the Hall of Champions. And you must get into this little window well before you are sheeped. It's a glitch and it is real and it is on a regular server..

this was the way to get there but they fixed the dueling glitch behind the pillar by the bank so this does not work, i know i went there and almost got banned for charging 10g a summon to noobs LOL! I would of made a fortune but i ran out of soul shards!

Notice he got in here bu duelling a mage. You can no longer duel inside the cities. Therefore, videos like this is the only proof that old ironforge exists. Why blizzard created old ironforge, and then hit it, remains a mystery.

cant do this any more this was done in 2007 they fixed this glitch up with the burning crusade expansion dueling in ironforge no longer can occur but there is unconfirmed reports that if a enemy player fears or polymorphs you at the right location without being killed first you can enter

As you can see Gil'nais is opening up. That gate has been there since the very start wihtout use, untill Catacalysm.

According to game lore, only the most important dwarves can enter in there. It's a cathacomb for Ironforge's kings. Maybe they hid it on purpose to have wow geeks to speculate about it, and wait for a moment to open it and reveal everything to us.

Old Ironforge is either the original version that had lag issues or the Hall of Thanes, where kings are buried. Beyond the king burial thing its purpose is unknown. King Magni thinks the titans gave it to them for a reason

It's actually called The Hall of Thanes. The Hall of Thanes is a massive, natural cavern complex. It is located in Ironforges lowest depths. The area is a true marvel of organic stone formation: No dwarf has touched this area with pick or chisel. Ironforges kings are buried in the Hall of Thanes, and the old throne is here as well. Also within this cavernous area is the ancient, weathered Iron Forge — perhaps the greatest titan artifact ever unearthed.

There is a way you have to be on a mechanical mount on a fire thing and fire jump onto a ledge and some other things (its really hard)

You can still get in old IF, but you have to have Aromatic Honey Brew. (brew of the month brew for March)

If you drink it near the "locked door" to old IF, it might make you run through it...it worked for me, but I had to be a little bit far away from it and facing away from it.

Everyone keeps asking why it's such a big secret, but you don't get banned for getting in. You get banned for the exploit that gets you in.

Also, it's likely unfinished content that'll be added later that someone found by accident.

There is a different location that you can get in, same strategy with getting sheeped but it is up on a ledge. I made a video, so did many people. Those are the 'actual' doors however, so I like this method better.

noo..;They made Old IF like other city : maps the players can't reach cause they don't have quests....and etc for putting into this city's / maps and mostly the maps arent's completed yet. what u now see is just a "test map" but they don't delete it cause they just need to delete the gate . Otherwise they need to patch the OLD IF in the game again... and thats time wasting
