@ceitiosaurus I didn't bother picturing them in detail, as they were not an integral part of the story. I simply imagined large beasts that moved on four legs.

@ceitiosaurus And I take no issue with the design of the creatures in the film. As they are simply referred to as "great beasts," that's exactly what Peter Jackson used. They were beasts and they were large.

Do you think the mumakil were the great beasts cause I find it ironic that PJ would put them in as rhino like beasts in which tolkein made no description of.

@ceitiosaurus No. The mumakil were creatures that the Haradrim rode. The great beasts that draw Grond are something different.
