As hard as it is, try not to rush the process. Enjoy each moment. It will go by quickly. You will miss those creative do's that the shorter length allows you. I am 10 years into locs (2nd set) and cut them to shoulder length at least twice a year. The heaviness can be a bit much at times for me. Locs are like children, they grow up before you know it. Love them and love in the moment with them. Then they will go through growth spruts, like children, but not empty your fridge : )

@tmice826 thanks so much for the advice. You are sooo right! I will appreciluv this stage more cause once its gone, its gone! Wow 10 years, I know you hold a wealth of information. I would love to know what type of shampoo you use on your locs. I have recently found that the cheap shampoo I use may well be the cause of my dry locs. Any feedback?? Thanks again :))

I have flat locs aswell. I thought it was only me too lol. I'll just leave it and accept it :) My obsession right now is my parts. I feel like they're not even and nice lol. But your hair is beautiful!
