It's the reverse of that.

You have to do it quickly or else it mutes the sound. :)

when he says pull off, it simply means pull that finger off that fret, that is basically it, you are supposed to do a downward motion with your finger but im not going to try to teach you that. Just put in how to play pull offs into a search and someone can help you

the video quality is really throwing me off but i think he says after doing the pull off from 7 to 5, play the 8th fret of the low E string, then move up to 5th fret on the A string and 3rd fret on the E string (idk the picking pattern i cant tell with the lag) then keep your finger on the 5th fret of the A and move from the 3rd fret of the E string to the 2nd fret. I think that is right
