  • "i am in the twilight of my youth. not that im going to remember"

  • I can't believe with all these comments nobody has mentioned the Smiths. This could have been written by Morrissey / Marr and is undoubtedly performed with Morrissey in mind.

  • @audiobore completely agree.

  • @audiobore I'm pretty sure it's well known that all the songs on 'Rock n Roll' are inspired by another artist - or certainly strongly rumoured. 'So Alive' for example, sounds a lot U2. Give it a listen. The album was written and recorded in two weeks...

  • fuck yeah Rock and Roll album is the shit, the killers stole from that sound

  • I am so lucky to have seen this artist and also lucky enough to have spoken to him in person, in CA! Keep following him, he is extraordinary!

  • his voice is beautiful.

  • I would punch the person with the laser pointer for him. Prick.

  • @Stab138M

    agreed

  • Damn I would've loved to have been there!

  • His voice seems purer and mabye it's a little distorted on the "love is hell" version. It's so chilling!..love it.

  • Best version of this song (live)

  • It sounds SO fucking good.

  • He should write more songs in this style. So Alive is another one that's similar. This performance is spectacular.

  • I fucking love this song AND that record shop.

  • my favourit ryan adams song... is there a videoclip from this song ??? :(

  • wow...candid stuff!

  • Is this the Rock n Roll version?

  • Yeah - you can hear him asking "Oh, is this the long version?" (the Love Is Hell version) to which "Nah" was the answered, and thus they played the shorter RNR version.

  • Yeah the "Love is Hell" version has longer intro.

  • yes... he began playing 'the long version' (Love is Hell) then went into the Rock n Roll version

  • awesome! i like so much this song! thanks guys

  • I listen to a lot of grunge, but this is fantastic! Probably the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
