it's reasonable that Chu lian married lu ping because he felt bad for what he did even though he didn't really love her. i disagree, he can't help who he loves , and he gave up his love , and took the respondsblity to take care of lu ping for her life . He felt bad about what he did , and he is willing to give up his life for lu ping, and for lu ping's leg. Eventhough he is hurt inside all the time , he still takes good care of lu ping like his wife. Sometimes we really can't control our feelings , loving a person does not need a reason !!!
