I try never sweeping, builds bad habits for me... Instead of picking through notes i sweep through them...to me, that's bad.

It's harder but i'm more into string skipping now, a la paul gilbert.

yeah its weird when i first tried learning it i did 5 sting sweeps and they were ones that i basically made up lol and it was easyer then 3 string sweeps i think 3 sting sweeps are really hard

@PWNr123 thats a harder one to explain. have you ever played drums? if you can do somewhat of a blast, its the same concept. just practice moving your wrist up and down. dont really know how to explain that one anymore haha

How would you explain how to do bar sweeps? Especially with the ring finger lol

@PWNr123 just place your middle or ring finger over the fret, and start from the bottom and kind of roll your finger up ^ the neck. just roll it across the string and use your whole finger. hope that helps!

@battleaxbass52195 um, arpeggio's are where u make a chord, and sweep pick the whole chord from the top to the bottom and back up again, usually starting on the A string, in standard tuning going down to the high E string then back up to the A string like, ADGBE-EBGDA in a pattern,
