  • I want to add rockband 2 cymbals to rockband 1 drums. Do you think you can help me with the wiring? Pm me

  • 0:25 did you piss in the pants

  • You Got Rock Band the first one rite?

  • @PedroyItatiFan Yea, he just tranfered the songs to rockband2

  • if you tell us not to try this.....why do you show us how? lol

  • @FeeldahVibe001 lol your right

  • 0:25

    SNAP!

  • @Painkiller0039803 lol if you keep on pressing it it makes a nice beat x]

  • How did you find out all of that info ? That is so cool :) gr8 video

  • It makes sense... except for the bass pedal, its magnetically triggered? how did you get the magnet part on there??

  • NVM! I DIDNT WATCH THE WHOLE THING LOL

  • 0:25 hahahahah wtf is that its sow fucking funny

  • 0:25

    WTF

  • Hehe. The throne I was sitting on ... settled a little bit. :) I guess my butt falling an inch was enough to shake the camera

  • haha it sounded like a shotgun was fire behind the camera, caught me off guard.

but thats a real awesome mod you got there

  • you have the drums laid out really unnaturally :/

  • They're set up to match the rock band drum setup

  • no they aren't xD

  • THANKS! I'll put this info to use when i get a game system

  • Oh, I just got an idea! What if i used a REED Reel

  • Reed switch? Yah, that's what the bass drum uses. You need piezos for the rest of the drums because they operate with little voltage changes, not with a switch completing a circuit. Though I suppose you could do it if you supplied your own voltage. :)

  • did he hook the bass up the same as the rest of the drums

  • The bass drum is hooked up but it works differently than the drums. Instead of a piezo, I used a magnetic switch, the kind used doors in home security systems. The kick head has a magnet from a hard drive in it that activates the switch.

  • Yeah, you WOULD be playing Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

  • Hi Dan, did you base your conversion of my Video?

    Cheers

  • It looks fun but not sure about how accurate the drum hitting would be

  • ohh i forgot its a different type of piezo mostly used in acoustic guitars

  • i am wiring a piezo into my guitar i need to put an on/off switch and finish wiring as with another pickup switch for magnetic pickups on/off

  • I BURNED MY HOUSE DOWN DOING THIS,

    >:(

  • lol, he told you so...

  • lol at about 0:26 i laughed because of the bang noise

  • ye and he shit his pants

  • its maps

  • still loud as shit

  • well lets see.

    drums are loud.

rock band drums are a simulation. of real drums.

he combines real drums with the simulation. still hitting real drum pads so its bound to be loud.

    its not a sound mod.

  • i suggest mesh heads

  • those are mesh heads.

  • nah the music is on too. he was playing with them b4 and they were pretty quiet

  • What song is that?

  • maps by the yeah yeahs or yeah yeah yeahs or something.

  • They're still perfectly good drums. I put Pearl muffle heads on them to silence them for rock band.

  • Dude,So you ruined a whole drum set for a video game. Or does it still make sound? Or what?

  • HAHA! 0m26s !

  • Hehe yeah I guess I hadn't fully set the pin in the throne. :)

  • nice ...maybe ill try it...i modded my foot pedal by cutting a ordinary pair of headphones and soldering it to a momentary push button and then taped it to my drumstick so its easier for my foot

  • Dont tell me, you had the camera taped to the side of your head, when you showed how to do it!

  • Haha close! I used a little wired mini cam taped to my hat.

  • Nice. Very good video. Still though, I dont think I would sabotage a real set for this though.

  • looks like its not that sensitive

  • The sensitivity varies by drum. I end up whaling on them anyway when I play, so they're sensitive enough for me. :) Knowing what I know now I could make them better but they're plenty good enough for me

  • I have the same thing but mine called and ion

  • how long did it take u

  • It took the better part of a weekend plus several extra hours while I messed around with getting the bass drum trigger right. A lot of that time was figuring stuff out so I could it a lot faster now, probably in a day.

  • Dude you are such the man for doing this.

    Grave kudos.

  • you guys are dipshits for saying it's fake. There are a ton of people on youtube who have done this mod. You should've added cymbals.

  • Yeah, I've been thinking about it. I tried using a standard y-adapter with 2 drums and it they interfered with each other. I'm considering picking up a rock band 2 kit and adding cymbals that way.

  • Obvious fake

  • hahahah. you are an idiot kythorn..
