if you knew about the gt-r's transmission, then you would know that it IS a manual..a semi automatic dual clutch transmission is still a manual in which sensors controlled by a microcontroller engage the clutch to execute gear shifts much faster than is possible by manually having to press down a clutch pedal to disengage the clutch. It results in a huge difference in shift times....one of the reasons most high end cars (ferrari's, lambos, etc.) use clutchless semi automatics.

and why is it STILL considered a manual transmission? Because, unlike an automatic transmission, which uses a torque converter to link the engine and the transmission, the semi automatic still has a CLUTCH...just not controlled mechanically by a human foot on a third pedal.

Apparently Top Gear was reviewing the Audi TT's Dual Clutch Transmission and according to them, it shifts in .02seconds, which is far quicker than the time I can push the clutch in and out, lol. According to them, an average person shifts in .4seconds,20times slower than the Dual Clutch. Of course I still enjoy driving a manual more than p-shifters, but it's pretty ignorant of them to say that the GT-R wasn't a Stick Shift and it sucks.(never made stick)

The Jeep is just to heavy, even with a turbo, its 5000+ of weight limit its top speed, it could reach around 315km/h while a GT-R with turbo could go over 335km/h, the Jeep its a great car, but I would not use a SRT8 to run.
