You can also die in 7 days when you try to go back inside the ship before getting rid of the idol. it's so funny, you get into the closet to get the uniform and you come out with the wielder mask and the apron. (because your uniform doesn't have gloves to prevent you from touching the idol.)

It is such a damned shame that they dont make games like this anymore. By that I mean the "point and click adventuire" genre. Quest for Atlantis, grim fandango, and the last crusade are examples. Will SOMEBODY please tell me that I am not the only person who feels this way!! lol

There's one missing in 7 Days, when you didn't destroy the idol and go undress, you Barely Skin will touch the idol, then you appears like the welder.

Actually, if possessed Janine catches you, Theo wakes up in the bed like it all had been a dream. And when you leave the room, the chase-scene just restarts, so I wouldn't count that as a death. And I THINK the Trilby-part is the same deal, although I'm not 100% sure. It's been a while since I last played it.

And as far as I can remember, yes, you die if you run out of Trilbies an move to another room. I died like that a few times.

In 7 Days a Skeptic, if you go back into the airlock whilst you're holding the DeFoe idol, when you change clothes you turn into DeFoe.

Oh yes. Adventure games are good for storytelling, and Yahtzee's a natural in creating the effective kind of horror game. (That is, not one where stuff jumps out to kill you, but the kind where stuff might jump out to kill you at any moment and you can't do anything about it.)

Mind, it can be too effective. Take the route to my laundry room: a narrow white corridor, with doors all around. Might it resemble a chase scene seen in these things? Now I've got to do my washing in daytime.
