However the point is that just 5% of the worlds land mass can comfortabley sustain our current population, i'm certain that their is 5% of the worlds total land area suitable for crops and habition.
Until the human condition is no longer driven by greed, we will always "seem" over populated.
If we take one country as an example, Austrailia lets say. It has a land mass of 2,969,907sq miles. Around 5% of the world total. If we give every man woman and child in the world their own equal share, so 2,969,907 divided by 6,000,000,000 equates to 0.0004949845square miles each. That converts to 1,282 square meters, EACH! A 36x36 metre piece of land. Enough to live on and grow crops to be completley self sustainable etc.
The rest of the world left over, 95% of it, with no one living their.
