Have tears in my eyes, its very distressing to watch. The way there rounded up and butchered is like something out of a horror movie. . . . It's sick. The lifespan in the wild for the killer whales is up to 70yrs compared with approx 4yrs in captiverty (just for our entertainment!!) very sad. More beautiful, more humane AND more educational than the endless tragedy of Sea World and parks like it.

Someone should really start a petition banning things like SeaWorld and other such "amusement" parks. This is certainly not amusing for the poor animals being put into slavery for the entertainment of humans. In high stress situations Dolphins and Whales can actaully commit suicide by choosing not to breath, since breathing for them is not a natural motion (like it is for humans) but something they have to think to do. The original Flipper the Dolphin commited suicide by drowning due to depression from being in captivity. These animals are not meant to be in captivity!

However, their breathing and the fact that they recognize themselves in mirrors and have such strong family structures suggest that they are incredibly self aware. According to Genesis, we were put here to CARE for the animals, not exploit and destroy them!! I have never had the desire to go and see ANY aquatic animals. and because of this, I NEVER WILL!! These places, along with circuses, and rodeos, need to be shut down and fined very stiff penalties!! And NEVER be allowed to own any animal EVER AGAIN!!!

I had to stop watching this, I know this goes on and i feel this is something that I cant help - I would never and have never gone to a sealife show - people that pay to see these shows are selfish bastards - the people that fish these poor animals disgust and repulse me. These beautiful beast should be left in their own habitat and if I wanted to see them I would rather go on boat trips to see them where they should be and acting how they should act. people who go to these shows SHAME ON YOU!

We all comment and argue of the fact that this is animal cruelty, it's not fair, and that it's disgusting. There are plenty of opportunities to see these magnificent creatures in their natural environments -- there are whale-watching tours and even cruises in Alaska and the Northwest, or go out to sea on a dolphin tour some time if you want to see dolphins (as I did once off the Virginia coast); the wild dolphins love riding the wake of the boats and groups of them will swim right alongside! More beautiful, more humane AND more educational than the endless tragedy of Sea World and parks like it.

this is rlly sad...my uncle was actually a trainer at seaworld and he quit his job bc he found all this out. his dolphin...sally...was actually saved...apprntly she was attacked by a killer whale out in the ocean and almost bled to death. after he quit seaworld...he took sally outta of there (since she literally was his dolphin...he's the one tht saved her) and released her back into the wild...where she belonged!

Someone should really start a petition banning things like SeaWorld and other such "amusement" parks. This is certainly not amusing for the poor animals being put into slavery for the entertainment of humans. People need to stop visiting these places; without the money pouring in because of them, they cannot run and will have to shut down.
Unfortunately, there are too many people who care only for their own selfish desire to be amused instead of preserving the wonder of this world.

In high stress situations Dolphins and Whales can actaully commit suicide by choosing not to breath, since breathing for them is not a natural motion (like it is for humans) but something they have to think to do. The original Flipper the Dolphin commited suicide by drowning due to depression from being in captivity. These animals are not meant to be in captivity!

However, their breathing and the fact that they recognize themselves in mirrors and have such strong family structures suggest that they are incredibly self aware. Hugo, Lolita's "mate" at the Miami Seaquarium did the same thing.

if a group of well trained killers were to go into the seaworld place and shoot up the owners I wouldnt even feel remorse for them. While the killers are at it they can take pity on the creatures and get them back to the ocean and after they get all the dolphins and orcas out then they can demolish Seaworld to the ground .
