They should have torn down the whole town. I can't believe I grew up there. In the 1950s and 60s, it was a great place. Bad government and greedy unions killed it. I escaped to Alabama in 1979 from Carey's Run on the west side. and before that on 17th St. near Mound Park. Drug head city now.
