The ACTU is whipping a dead horse with its current advertising campaign.
People are privy to what the ads are trying to achieve and will not take kindly to them. (if rudd ins in power, trying to make people scared of the Liberals is pointless as they don't have the power to do anything at current).
Labor is running SCARED over Costello. As soon as Australia enters a Rudd Recession, Costello will beat Rudd in the biggest electoral landslide in Australian political history.
Apparently not. Instead of repealing workchoices to the system we had pre-howard, Rudd is introducing his own workchoices-lite.. and they even try to fluff it up like Howard.. Instead of an enlightening term like "work choices", we now have a government telling us we need "forward with fairness".

Do you think Australians are really stupid enough to think the imminent recession was caused by Rudd or Labor in general?

When there is a recession, the people will blame the government of the day no matter what the political circumstances might be.
