  • i dont like pepsi ether.

  • Great!! I used to drink soda for energy but it affects my running so i started drinking teas and it works just the same energy effect. sodas may be good but just fuck up ur energy internally

  • oh you poor thing - Stash is NASTY! zenguy had it right Tazo is the best bagged, Celestial and Bigelowe both make some ouststanding ones (I'm a HUGE fan of constant comment- especially if you crave cola) but stash has NO flavor!

  • @ginastarke2 Stash is fine, I buy Celestial and lipton as well. Doesn't beat loose, but hey. what the heck.

  • Nice video!

  • Mr. Power says "Stay away from tea bags and go for the loose whole green tea. "

You do know that 7 to 10 tea bags a day is equivalent to the tea leaves? But you're right though, tea leaves are much better, but I wouldn't recommend to anyone staying away from tea bags...You can still benefit from them.

  • Because I suffer high levels of stress, I would like to get my hands on black tea. Of all the benefits of tea, it would be nice to have it around. Thanks for the info. 5 stars on the movie by the way. Cheers

  • this was bad i hate your video it was sad to me i wanted to cry

  • @dayzedaway Thank you

  • Green Tea Super Anti-Oxidant

  • Very entertaining. Good, solid health information too. Please recomend a tea for my clients to drink after a detoxing body wrap. Oh, and is there a tea powder or leaf that I could apply directly to the skin for a cleansing or detox body wrap.

  • I was expecting Pepsi Tea :(

  • I agree -- all soda companies should quit using HFCS, and use cane sugar like the Europeans do. :)

Pepsi is delicious either way, but let's just say I only drink it at parties.

  • many of the bottled sodas use sugar cane, but of chorse they are a bit more pricey

  • i add vanilla creamer to my tazo tea and it tastes great!

  • Tazo Zen tea! My drug of choice!

  • After all these years, I rediscovered the taste of green tea.

    Life is good. ^_^

  • good advice....thx

  • Pepsi sucks anyway.

  • YOU suck! You are an idiot!

  • @cannonballsax Thank you.

  • I'm trying to drink more whole leaf green tea instead of diet soda and punch, and it makes me feel so much better and it perks me up. But I shouldn't put sweet n low in it...

  • it has caffeine!! damn!!!! I'm so stupid! no wonder i have a hard time sleeping!!!! I've been drinking a lot of tea lately and i cut out soda on my diet. The only thing I drink now is water, green tea and V8, I noticed my skin is getting better! so i was like WTF!!!

  • Pepsi is very strong thats why I stopped drinking it I did a project one day where I placed a piece of meat inside of a cup of pepsi & let it sit for three days & by day three all of the meat was gona from the bone pepsi is just that strong & they use it to clean blood of the highways when theres a incident.

  • Drinking raspberry green tea ATM. If you want a ton of choices, check out Celestial Seasonings at amazon.

  • I think I'm in the target age bracket for this video. I used to drink lots of pop/soda, but now I drink green tea (loose leaf sencha).

For anyone trying to "quit" pop, everytime you want one, just drink tea or water. After about a week you wont get cravings for pop anymore.

As for "side effects" if you're drinking a few cans of Pepsi or Coke a day, you really don't need to worry about the tea's caffine content keeping you up at night!

btw, I think Steve is a drug addict! ;D

  • As I drink my cup of freshly brewed green tea right now I have to say, I agree.

  • Those tea bags are a cheap part of the green tea plant. When the tea leaves are broken up, those oils can evaporate, leaving a dull and tasteless tea. Typical tea bags are filled with the tiniest pieces of broken leaves, called fannings. Loose teas are typically whole leaves or at least large pieces of leaves. Stay away from tea bags and go for the loose whole green tea.

  • Green tea has had the sife effect of wet dreams for me, but that's actually kind of a benefit in my opinion.

  • I used to chug down at least one pop a day, usually two or three. Since then, I've cut out pop completely, taken up tea, changed my diet to be more healthy, and started to exercise.

I haven't lost any weight :) But thats not why I did it anyway.

  • You should also mention that Iced teas, such as Arizona iced tea, are just as bad for you as pop. They contain high levels of sugar, & they're as bad for your teeth as pop. I don't even want to know how little nutritional value remains in that tea.

  • Haha so true - try brewing Green Tea, waiting for it to cool, add a little bit of lemon juice and a bit of honey(if you need it). Then just chill it in the fridge - tastes pretty much like Iced Tea (without all the sugar). I make it in the summer.

  • i lost 60 lbs in 4 months no lie off green tea and lemon juice

  • wow!! gotta do that

  • omg im healthy i drink up to 3-5 jugs of green tea a day OMG!!! no cancer for mee^^

  • Jugs? Like arizona iced tea? Nope, that stuff is as bad for you as pop

  • i didnt meant iced tea i meant green tea like tea bags of green tea :D you know regular green tea

  • so true

  • Great video man

  • I stopped drinking soda because my track coach told it leeches calcium in your bones? Yeah Green tea is the best!

  • Uh, he is way off.

  • I drink about 10 cups of green or white tea a day.

  • You're absolutely right about soft drinks, kind of an oxymoron though to call it a 'soft' drink considering what it does to the body. I can't lie either I can't resist cokes on occasion. Green Tea is good but the Celestial Seasons brand in your video is probably the worst you can buy. Tazo is a better one to pick. Thanks for posting.

  • Oh really? I had no idea haha. Thought all green tea was pretty much healthy for you.

  • Well it's like coffee which I drink a lot of too. ;) You have to pay attention to marketing and brands. Just because the product is healthy doesn't mean all brands of that product are good. A general rule of thumb is if it's real cheap then you get what you pay for health wise. That's why there is such a problem with obesity. Bad foods are cheap and easy to get (i.e. McDonalds)while healthier foods are much more expensive and not as convenient.

  • Oooh the pink one! :P Nice video but you forgot to mention it cures cold symtoms like sore throat too :).

I've been drinking alot lately, but im running out, so i'll have to get some more, but the kind im drinking right now is like 5 years old, but tea never tastes bad :).

  • Tea bags have a shelf life of 5 months, looseleaf, when properly stored, will last for 2 years.

  • why black tea? ill tell u y.

coz milk is bad for you! n thts the truth

  • love green tea and pepsi, my two favorite drinks! Pepsi saved my digestive system once, its a good thing to take when you are abroad and have "the runs" constantly, sorta sorts out your digestive system

oh and green tea helps you poop

  • WHAT? I find that crazy because Pepsi hasn't done anything to my system except put pounds on me LOL.

  • isnt fructose pernounced fr-oo-ktose..instead od fr-uh-ktose.... lol..by the way....

thnx for the video..ive always wondered about tea, although im more of a coffe person, unitill i was told it stops/slows growth. lol, and im only 14 i need my growth..

  • I've heard both ways but I think the more common way is frooktose, I guess I messed up? sorry :)

    Paul

  • lol its all good

  • Fortunately I've never really liked soda, coffee or alcohol. I tend to have dozens of types of tea, and each one fits a particular mood I'm in. Tea has the distinction of being invigorating while being relaxing. A hot cup of tea can wake me in the morning, while a cup at night is soothing and helps me sleep! It's the nectar of the gods!

    : )

  • I just drink black tea. I'm addicted on it.

  • u should get some loose tea. if u try it u will never want those shitty tea bags ever again

  • I have! It's much more potent, but its just easy for me with the bags haha. :)

  • oolong tea?

  • You should talk about the benefits of garlic.

  • awesome

  • i dont drink green tea alot. but i have regular tea that i use. and those are pretty cool facts.

  • Earl Grey...in the morning....

  • Yeah I like English breakfast or Irish Breakfast for the morning... it has a strong taste. Thanks for sharing :)

  • I try and switch in more tea as I phase out pop. also trying to drink some of the splenda pops, rather then the

    'normal' pop.

  • Yeah I'm gradually phasing out the pop as well, and we got a suggestion from someone to do a segment on "splenda"...

  • Yes, please talk about Splenda - a.k.a. Sucralose. The commercial says "it tastes like sugar, because it's made from sugar" but is it really? Or is it synthesized in a lab. Is it unhealthy for you? Personally, I find it SWEETER than sugar, and kind of disgusting (I've had a few different yogurts and juices made with the stuff rather than sugar). But it doesn't give the headaches that come with Aspartane (NutriSweet).

  • Great Informational Video, keep it up!

  • Your tea is grippa delicious fools, lazl

  • I totally drink that same Green tea!! It's citris flavor. mmmhnn!

Did you know that they use coca-cola to remove blood off of the highways? Also, if you put a tooth in coca-cola, it will eat it. Eww! just imagine what that's doing to your insides!! gahhh!!

  • Yeah! I didn't mention that but I saw it on a show once. Interesting stuff....

  • Thanks for your message. You guys have a great channel.

  • I should have added - and a great message.

  • Sure tea has a healthy benefits, however it's not a good alternative to soft drinks, It's a hot drink versus cold drink. Perhaps it is a better alternative to coffee, while water can be the alternative to soft drinks. Cool vid.

  • Thanks for subscribing, and contributing to the discussion. You are definitely right about water being the most important thing to drink on a regular basis. We are just trying to show people that there are other beverages they can consume instead of "Pepsi/Coke".

  • Tea can be a hot drink or a cold drink, "Ice Tea" for example, but like the "Evange" said in her video response, ice tea can contain a lot of sugar if you are not careful. Another good thing to point out is that there is decaf and caffeinated tea.

  • Was he serious about pepsi being good for cleaning? Hmmm...maybe not the toilet seat though. Sticky seat...ouch!

  • Yeah, pepsi/coke is acidic and it can remove stains, you probably shouldn't put it on the toilet SEAT though haha.

  • Also I don't recommend doing, it was just an interesting fact for the video, and if you plan to dispose of your left over soft drinks those are just the possible uses :)

  • very informative vid, looks like u got me switched to Tea now! thanks!

  • Pepsi sucks

  • Right on dude, you keep it up. Tea also has flouride which is why it is good for your teeth.

  • Thanks for the support :)

  • Love your "healthy back" theme song. XD lol

  • Good video :) I was quite interested in everything you had to say. I would have picked the pink colour too, it take a real man to love pink hehe.

Off to watch the rest of the videos now as promised. I will rate them all 5 stars too don't worry :)

  • GJ Steve, not only are you teaching us to be healthy pick pretty colors you also are teaching us safety by unplugging the hot plate :D(that is what it's called right?)

  • Haha yes yes :) Thank you so much for subscribing and commenting, it made my day!

  • I see your myspace in the background!!!

Listen my diet pepsi & coke are going no where along with my sweet tea :D

  • Azn steve, at the end hahaha good work.
