We all know Freddie is a hard act to follow, and Paul does a reasonable job covering some Queen songs.I think there are better, unknown, people out there who can make a better all round job of it.
There are lots of Queen "tribute" bands whose lead singers sound better.
A few years back I went to a show, starring the winner of Stars in their eyes (as Freddie Mercury) and he looked and sounded great.
People want to "hear" Queen songs as they should be heard,i.e. with the voice of Freddie

i think one vision and hammer to fall are much harder for rodgers to cover than this one, i actually think this one is pretty good

There are some songs that cannot be covered by anyone other than Freddie Mercury.
This is one of them.

i actually think this song is an example of Paul's better vocal jobs...however there ARE songs Paul should not sing, such as One Vision
