I think the combos on mk9 are just ridiculous. People can get like a 50% attack and then do it again and that's the whole round. It's not fun it's like playing on sudden death, the first to pull off these combos..wins. Even with DA Deception or mk vs dc it was a lot more fun.

MK9 is a good game. I've found the online to be poor for the most part - although i haven't tried it online in ages - but other than that it's great fun.

Hey Whats wrong with Komidogu's sound, the blood on mine sounds exactly like the mame emulator I have, and the wave file thats on your site. Thats on his side, I do agree with the rest, I bought it, but only because i have 2 brothers who i play it with, ONE more not, The single player difficulty is 100x harder then the old ones which is near impossible to beat, took me over 16 hours of gameplay to beat all 3. But taht blood is right on mine, I dont know if its because its recorded or what.

MK9 is a 2d playing field , but like the last 4 mortal kombat games it has a great story but its completly unbalanced its they droped the ball with not being ably to link combos almost everyone has to dash to do a decent combo and there is no trade system in the game so they got lazy in making the game it feels like not only the game is incomplete but the fighting engine doesn't feel finished they need to make another version and release it early next year for 20 or 30 bucks

but a disk can scratch an break with dlc itll never break on your hdd as long as your hdd doesnt get corrupted so just incase you could put the dlc on backups to........i only hate digital downloads for where like you need a internet connection to play the game like half life 2 i think that should be deSTROYED!

I understand what you're saying about WB and am disappointed that the pr are acting the way way they are. I miss the amount of excitement that there used to be and the box of MKA games reminded me of that. The fact that MKAK was a joke and that there wasn't any hype for it compared to SFIII3S was the big kicker. There's no rush for the MK9 review so just keep putting out great content.

@StephanJohnson90 You need to understand that if I am going to run this with full enthusiasm I need to have the support from people who hold the MK licence for various reasons, if they don't support me they make trouble for me, like WB Games did with Syco Collectables. So even if I ignore WB, what I stand here and take shit from them? No. Un unexceptable. I am a huge MK fan regardless but I expect to be able to do giveaways with you guys on the same level as other outlets.
That's just what it seems like from a fan's perspective. Not saying it's a set in stone fact. Seems like you are the kid who grew up loving a sport, filled with passion to just play the game. Then you got to the pros and sold out. Asking for millions of dollars, merchandising deals, and special treatment. It's no longer about just playing the game...just like to you it's no longer about expressing your love for Mortal Kombat. You want the glory, the fame, the attention, the exclusives etc.
You consider yourself the biggest MK fan because you spend a bunch of money to go to another country to cover MK...yet you said it yourself last year, you go to get stuff for your site. to get vids, screenshots, renders, info etc. You said if you can't get those and they won't let you release them, you might as well just not go. That to me, doesn't sound like you are passionate about the game you are covering, sounds more like you are passionate about getting attention for your site.

BEcause witht hose statements right there, it seems awfully like you have taken your passion of MK, which im sure is what it was all about in the very beginning, and it's turned into being all about you and your site. Ok, just watched the last part of the video. So basically, you stated "If WB doesn't want to work with me, i'll still do some MK stuff on the side, but I will focus more on other games and companies that appreciate me more". That to me, along with the whole bashing TRMK, MKOnline, and making outrageous statements like Australian fans such as yourselves are the biggest MK fans, because you go to another country just to get stuff on the game.
@TotalMK For the record, I didnt buy MK AK for the reason that I already own all the games, and I have UMK3 on XBLA, and I heard the netcode was bad. So yeah, not arguing there. I'm just saying...MK AK isn't the first game to be released with terrible netcode or online play...only to hopefully be patched later post release down the road if at all. Doesn't say that the company doesn't care about the game or it's franchise. Gears 2 for example, had a really messed up multiplayer online for a while
@TheUltimateBastich The first MK game under their brand has been the best one since the 2D era games. Both from most hardcore fans perspectives, as well as many old fans and new fans who were reluctant to give it a chance. I'm not saying they made the game great, obviously Netherrealm makes the game, but the owners of the franchise are a pivital part in the time that is given, budget that is given, and marketing that is done etc..

Their exclusives to MK sites or how they handle that sorta thing does not dictate how important the franchise is to them, and how much quality and money they are willing to let it have to be the best it can be.
@TheUltimateBastich They gave Netherrealm studios time to make the game well. They didn't rush it out for a paycheck like Midway did often causing it to lose quality. They let Netherrealm studios do things the way they wanted. Listen to multiple interviews with Ed and Hector etc...they all say WB has been amazing to them. Very supportive. Not only that, but they made lots of merchandising like a soundtrack, shirts, and even an online web series dedicated to MK, as well as an upcoming movie.

Not only did they pay top dollar for the franchise, they have done nothing but advertise it and make it look like a AAA title. They gave it special editions with statues and fight sticks. They have put out commercials on t.v., ads on websites, and there was MK advertising stuff all over Gamestop a month or so before release. They gave it a very secretive but awesome showing at E3 which built up tons of hype.

A huge company like WB isn't just gonna be publicly slandered only to turn around and give you what you want. Things don't roll like that. From a 3rd party perspective, it's rarely a beneficial move to constantly bash a company with vulgarity and slander them because they didn't give you what you want or felt you deserved.

GOG.com has the best digital distribution. You can download as many times you like and the games have no DRM so you can burn them to a disk and run off that. There's no chance in hell Sony and MS would ever do that though.

Once again, not saying this is the truth. It's just the way it's coming across from asll these videos stemming back from the very first rant. I've heard em all. And that's what I get from it. But i'm done beating a dead horse. Not trying to spam your youtube comments with disagreements and accusations. I just hope you go back to the old focus on just pumping out quality videos covering all sorts of games, rather than 1 every few weeks, likely containing some sort of rant or complaint.

@StephanJohnson90 You need to understand that if I am going to run this with full enthusiasm I need to have the support from people who hold the MK licence for various reasons, if they don't support me they make trouble for me, like WB Games did with Syco Collectables. So even if I ignore WB, what I stand here and take shit from them? No. Un unexceptable. I am a huge MK fan regardless but I expect to be able to do giveaways with you guys on the same level as other outlets.

That's just what it seems like from a fan's perspective. Not saying it's a set in stone fact. Seems like you are the kid who grew up loving a sport, filled with passion to just play the game. Then you got to the pros and sold out. Asking for millions of dollars, merchandising deals, and special treatment. It's no longer about just playing the game...just like to you it's no longer about expressing your love for Mortal Kombat. You want the glory, the fame, the attention, the exclusives etc.

You consider yourself the biggest MK fan because you spend a bunch of money to go to another country to cover MK...yet you said it yourself last year, you go to get stuff for your site. to get vids, screenshots, renders, info etc. You said if you can't get those and they won't let you release them, you might as well just not go. That to me, doesn't sound like you are passionate about the game you are covering, sounds more like you are passionate about getting attention for your site.

Here's the thing. Those are the exact reasons I am losing respect and interest in your videos and you as a fan. BEcause witht hose statements right there, it seems awfully like you have taken your passion of MK, which im sure is what it was all about in the very beginning, and it's turned into being all about you and your site. Ok, just watched the last part of the video. So basically, you stated "If WB doesn't want to work with me, i'll still do some MK stuff on the side, but I will focus more on other games and companies that appreciate me more". That to me, along with the whole bashing TRMK, MKOnline, and making outrageous statements like Australian fans such as yourselves are the biggest MK fans, because you go to another country just to get stuff on the game.

@TotalMK For the record, I didnt buy MK AK for the reason that I already own all the games, and I have UMK3 on XBLA, and I heard the netcode was bad. So yeah, not arguing there. I'm just saying...MK AK isn't the first game to be released with terrible netcode or online play...only to hopefully be patched later post release down the road if at all. Doesn't say that the company doesn't care about the game or it's franchise. Gears 2 for example, had a really messed up multiplayer online for a while

@TheUltimateBastich The first MK game under their brand has been the best one since the 2D era games. Both from most hardcore fans perspectives, as well as many old fans and new fans who were reluctant to give it a chance. I'm not saying they made the game great, obviously Netherrealm makes the game, but the owners of the franchise are a pivital part in the time that is given, budget that is given, and marketing that is done etc..

@TheUltimateBastich Just because they didn't give the MK websites, Luke specifically, as much as Midway did....does not mean they do not care about MK. They have been amazing to MK thus far. Their exclusives to MK sites or how they handle that sorta thing does not dictate how important the franchise is to them, and how much quality and money they are willing to let it have to be the best it can be.

@TheUltimateBastich They gave Netherrealm studios time to make the game well. They didn't rush it out for a paycheck like Midway did often causing it to lose quality. They let Netherrealm studios do things the way they wanted. Listen to multiple interviews with Ed and Hector etc...they all say WB has been amazing to them. Very supportive. Not only that, but they made lots of merchandising like a soundtrack, shirts, and even an online web series dedicated to MK, as well as an upcoming movie.

@TheUltimateBastich How can you say they don't give a shit about the MK franchise? Not only did they pay top dollar for the franchise, they have done nothing but advertise it and make it look like a AAA title. They gave it special editions with statues and fight sticks. They have put out commercials on t.v., ads on websites, and there was MK advertising stuff all over Gamestop a month or so before release. They gave it a very secretive but awesome showing at E3 which built up tons of hype.

@TotalMK Yeah I know that, but digging the wounds and your hole even deeper by making things public won't change their mind for the better about you or what you stand for. A huge company like WB isn't just gonna be publicly slandered only to turn around and give you what you want. Things don't roll like that. From a 3rd party perspective, it's rarely a beneficial move to constantly bash a company with vulgarity and slander them because they didn't give you what you want or felt you deserved.

@TotalMK I've enjoyed the Gears talk, and yeah of course I can just skip it. But you should take into consideration your own image. I know how it feels to rant and just let it all out there, but when it comes to this type of thing, when you are trying to deal with things professionally, you are only coming out on bottom when you publicly bash and complain nonstop about a company. When in all reality, even though they may not have treated you the best, they didn't tech. do anything wrong.

Although I gotta say, the only reason I downloaded the Arcade Kollection is because I wanted a proper arcade port of MK1, since I already have MK2 on PSN and UMK3 on DS.

Once again, before anyone jumps off their seat to go nuts to defend you or you feel as if I am somehow insulting you...don't bother. That's not what this is. This is a fan of yours for around 10 years. I went to the MKAlliance, MK5.org, MKW, MKO...you name it. I just want to see you making positive videos sharing fresh opinions on MK, Gears, Assasins Creed, Arkham City etc. Not rehashing rants and complaints that don't totally(no pun intended) add up. And personally, I can't speak for anyone else but myself, but I don't really care about seeing a review from you on the new MK. Which is a shame. Because I watched your E3 impressions from 2010, around 2-3 times each. This whole MK "strike" is just nonsense. You are "Total-Mortal Kombat"...not "Total Midway Games", "Total WB Games", "Total Xbox 360", "Total PS3" etc... We all just want to see you talk about games, not complain about the companies behind them. At least that's how I feel.

GOG.com has the best digital distribution. You can download as many times you like and the games have no DRM so you can burn them to a disk and run off that. There's no chance in hell Sony and MS would ever do that though.
