@DOffio Yeh I did. But I'm guessing the ditched truck is 4wd. If they had pulled it from the front right with the tyres turned all the way to the right the tyres could have gripped up and made life much easier, rather than dragging the truck in the mud where no traction was possible. We did something similar and it worked better for us. oh well.
@kbaldeo I am not sure if it is 4wd or not, but either way, I think they would have risked tearing the oilpan and or front diff apart if they went forward. Hard to tell from what we could see tho. Like ya said, oh well.

Mud, truck sitting on the frame on concrete. Other then having the steering wheel turned the wrong way, pulling it the wrong way. It was a great out come. No damage to truck, just the road side was too wet. Should have been pulled the other way. It could have been picked up and set out of the culvert with a rollback and driven away without damage. But then again the damage was paint scraped off the frame, nothing bad.

If you want nice suspension travel then no matter the truck you are going to need to invest 5 grand in a nice suspension lift and some quality shocks. Toyota trucks and the new ones especially are known for frame warpage, I dont know how many new Tacomas 2004+ ive seen driving down the road with a twisted looking frame, this is due to poor build quality, Ford doesnt build their frames from stamped sheet metal

That f-350 dually is pulling that tiny Tacoma just like a TOY....ota. Toyota makes a shitty truck anyways, shoulda left the damn thing there to rust. If it was 3 or 4 years that Ford has been best selling, that's one thing. But 34 years is a long time to have an unbroken streak of best-selling pickup trucks. Another downfall for Toyota is that they don't have a diesel truck or a dually. Those trucks are fairly popular and to not have one available is a big mistake.

@jamuz355 Ford doesnt make a fully boxed frame either, GM does and they get stress cracks and eventually the frame just gives. Ford has a c channel frame but it is reinforced and made from quality metal, not some pressed aluminum cans that toyota uses on their rear differentials and frames, they also load the body down with cheap plastic and foam so they use less metal. Toyotas are the cheapest trucks you can get, and you get what you pay for

If you want nice suspension travel then no matter the truck you are going to need to invest 5 grand in a nice suspension lift and some quality shocks. Toyota trucks and the new ones especially are known for frame warpage, I dont know how many new Tacomas 2004+ ive seen driving down the road with a twisted looking frame, this is due to poor build quality, Ford doesnt build their frames from stamped sheet metal

@Fx4Ranger2002 Not only is the frame warp due to poor quality, but Toyota doesn't make fully boxed frames, which means that they are cheaper, flex WAY more and are much more susceptible to warp. Basically Toyota is too lazy to make a real frame because they know that all of the ignorant Americans will buy a piece of shit. FORD FOR LIFE!!!

All the people that I know that own Fords have no problems out of them, some of them have under 100k miles, some have 300k+ miles and they have never been serviced. If not, you can buy a Flowmaster 40 series muffler at autozone or advanced auto for like 80 bucks, you will need to weld it on yourself though.

Toyota builds their truck frames on stamped sheet metal 2 piece welded c channel frames that are way too flimsy. Alot of the new Tacomas and Tundras recieve below average reliability ratings for bad bed bounce and the tailgates flying open due to poor build quality. If it was 3 or 4 years that Ford has been best selling, that's one thing. But 34 years is a long time to have an unbroken streak of best-selling pickup trucks. Another downfall for Toyota is that they don't have a diesel truck or a dually. Those trucks are fairly popular and to not have one available is a big mistake.

@jamuz355 Ford doesnt make a fully boxed frame either, GM does and they get stress cracks and eventually the frame just gives. Ford has a c channel frame but it is reinforced and made from quality metal, not some pressed aluminum cans that toyota uses on their rear differentials and frames, they also load the body down with cheap plastic and foam so they use less metal. Toyotas are the cheapest trucks you can get, and you get what you pay for
