  • Booker T + Steve + Duck = Magic

  • @ModGirl1967 Don't forget Al!

  • @Mustang5Speed OMG! How could I? Al is gone but never forgotten...

  • Gotta love the early 90s. The drummer is playing like he just did a fat line of coke.

  • I love this song thanks to Bukowski's Barfly. Amazing.

  • QUOTE: Booker T. and the Mgs aren't the same without the great Al Jackson.

    Yep indeed.

  • tight as fuck....brilliant

  • It made a cool commercial for disc jockey school, but it was a fine instrumental in its own right, Everybody knew this song. Frank Zappa did a hilarious cover of it called "Does Thi Kind of Life Look Interesting to You?" Check it out!

  • hey all of a sudden I'm so popular - maybe i oughta run for city council ...

  • Not a complaint, but I wish they'd showed at least one close-up of Duck's face. The only one he got was of plucking his bass strings at 1:11. Better than nothing, I guess. JohnStuartWade said they're not the same without Jackson. True, but here I think they have a quite capable replacement in Anton Fig. You may remember him as the drummer on "Late Night with David Letterman" in the 80s.

  • I was the onion in the Green Onions.

Our tribute to the immortal Booker T. Washington is often played at college night clubs in Toronto. By the way, you can see me here under the stage.

  • man now that's a funky sond booker t and the boys got down on this song

    Gordo TO

  • spaghetti legs stuff :)

  • muyyy buenoo

  • Anton Fig is in the CBS Orchestra on David Letterman. I first heard him on a Link Wray album (live at the Presidio). He is one great drummer...

  • Love Jazz. This is IT.

  • This is the song that hooked me along time ago. The Hip-Hugger album ,1967, is a must have for anyone new to them. I promise it won't disapoint

  • Steve Cropper is one of the greatest guitar players alive along with Duck Dunn , who ranks behind James Jamerson & Bob Babbitt on bass guitar .

  • Swing those hips! Sweet!

  • These Gents are tight..., and real as they come, true talent. The first time I saw them, when they played my freshman year Spring Dance 1966 at FVSC (then), FVSU (now), this sound playing now is one of favorites. Thanks so much for the memories, you are the Walter Cronkite on Utube. You bring nothing but best, it just keep on coming! Don't let nothing stop you. Bless you!

  • Hip Hop her :)))

  • Cropper and Dunn, are the shit!!! in my opinion it doesn't get any better!

  • Isn't Allah the Arab translation for God?

  • It actually is :D ( And anyone that doesn't believe me, I'm a muslim...)
