I love this shot. Go to BT and go to the area with all the elves fighting. Grab a pet gorilla Mend pet him Send him in and thunder stomp. After that Explosive shot and volley take them down quick and easy and you make some nice cash:)

Yeah volley rocks now...I'm glad they FINALLY scaled it with our AP. Hunters actually have "real" aoe abilities, even as a BM spec with volley. Doing 3k damage just using volley in mount hyjal, actually up with the dumb locks and mages now...lmao.

It sucks that they had to nerf it so bad... Why the hell dont they nerf the paladins as well, its like there always needs to be one class that is better than all the others. Now explosive shot only does like 100 dmg to the first target and then 50 dmg to all mobs around the target :/

lol, in dueling, arena, or bgs, they will get close to you. I'm a pally and I have to say, hunters have become WAY easier to kill than before. Even if he manages to kite me, I have no problem out healing his dps even with aimed shot on me. They'll usually keep their pet on you, so I just kill it and get my mana back. Hunters need a buff in pvp imo. But then again, this is at level 70, it will probably be better for them at 80. Should have just let that absorb crap they had in the ptr go live

This is gonna be the best thing ever with the other survival talent lock and load, When one of your traps go off, it triggers an effect where you can fire 3 explosive shots(among other things) without any mana cost, ammo use or, and this is the best part, COOLDOWN!

In my opinion, Explosive Shot should have been the Marks 51pt because Chimaera isn't really that impressive. The hunter-stealth thing called Camouflage that was announced early in the alpha should have been the survival 51pt. You can still sneak or whatever its purpose was, but you have to be deep into a tree to do it.

Because this is pretty lame to use in an arena. Marks is more for pvp and survival is dps. You CAN use any spec for pvp/dsp but marks excels for pvp and survival excels in CC and dps.
