@sanethoughtspreader There is no difference in the pronunciation. However, after the war, Japan changed it's "kanazukai" so ず and じ is more frequently used than づ and ぢ. However, there are some exceptions including names of places such as 会津若松(あいづわかまつ).
haha i found portuguese words in the vid: "palavra" (word), "história do brasil" (history of brazil), "olhe" (look), "metro" (underground or subway) "não" (no), "sim" (yes), "séc. XXI" (21st century). proud to speak portuguese x). are you brazilian of japanese descendants?
@Gadzukesable hehe i also needed time to dechiffer it: the examples only fit to pics when knowing the words and voice down aieo (the slow one) is ridic...xD
would you if you dont know a word japanese know that "aoi" means blue?! it could be the ocean or whatever^^
I´m Latin American. I watched only 1minute and 34 seconds of this video and the only sound I was familiar with was "kaki", which is the same in my language (Portuguese).
I wonder if latin-derived words are as difficult for Japanese speakers as is the Japanese language to westerns...
Very nice footage, teaching how to pronounce hiragana. I must admit it is one of the best videos on you tube. Hope you earn lots of prizes and aknowledgements from this terrific video.
No kidding: What can I say about this amazing method? Unbelievebly delightful, you learn hiragana effortlessly. Please, send more videos! We are all anxiously waiting for the next one. Pleaaaaaaaaaseeeee!!!!!!
I quite hate languages, but after seing this gorgeous video I made up my mind and will join a serious Japanese course. Thanx Zhungarian I am a new man today. Forget about all bronhas and sexual stuff. Now my hands are to write hiraganas, not to jerk the thick chap.
Very useful tool for those who are learning this most beatiful language which is Japanese. I think it is very original and post-modern. "ka-ki-ku-ke-ko" is something I would never forget if I had learned before.
I am speechless! Like madonna, I am breathless! It is so easy to learn hiragana through this fucking instructive method that if I were a kamikaze I could died today and go straight to heaven. Keep on the good job.
Amazing introduction to Hiragana Syllabary. I was looking for such a footage! Could you provide the source film? I would like to buy it. I will pay whatever you ask. Please, contact me!
What's the difference between the two Ji's and the two zu's? I can't hear the difference. I mean chi and shi with '' and tsu and su with ''

I heard that Japanese writing system is argurably the most complicated.
It's not really difficult, is it?
But if you are able to read these letters, Japanese people will say you are amazing!

It is...I get confused when they mix up Hiragana and Kanji. Jeez very confusing it is.
