if your looking to start djing, this what i stated on. its not great by any means but for the money you really cant go wrong and gives you a good understanding of what djing is about, and with a naughty sync button everything sounds god lmao ;)
The thing that everbody forget is that djs play music to keep the party rockin. There are different level of djs, not every dj Battle scratches, the main thing is how you transition your mixes and blend your music, bottom line. I seen a House Dj Rock a 2000 capacity crowd with a Numark Total control concole. Its not the equipment thats makes the dj,well you know the rest. keep doin your thing bro
decent, but like people said, most transitions are too fast, and for some one who is constantly touching the EQ knobs, a lot of the vocal were in different pitches and didnt work great. Keep practicing, its the only way to get better,,, I have an RMX but i HATE virtual DJ,,, its like working with a retarded cousin of REAL software like Traktor pro

Not bad. I like it. Just be careful not to change the speed of the songs too quickly. It'll throw people off. And try mashing up 2 songs: People will be impressed, seeing as you can't scratch with the RMX (that well, at least).
Dont understand what the deal is. This console works great, and its cheap. The beat sync feature is great it allows me to drag out my transitions and get really creative with my mix, not having to constantly fuck with keeping shit in time. Plus u can hook up two and run 4 decks in traktor pro. I mean unless you own a fucking disco and need expensive cdjs and rack cd players....
I've spun with just the console and my laptop, search South Rawkers Crew and DJ Dow Jones, he was using a Console MK2 before, he has a RMX now, he goes all over the world. Its not what you use its HOW YOU USE IT. Save for tiny dicks I can't help ya there, Use Fastsize....
Look , when you want to start something its good to start it from its basics , I mean I dunno any famous guitarrist that started with a Gibson Guitar, so when you start mixing is good to start with maybe something like a DJ Console , or maybe if you think you can handle it you could buy a pair of cdj-200 and an average mixer. Thats my point of view and that's the way the big artist growed up , I don't think Deadmau5, Tiesto, PVD, etc started with CDJ-1000 MKII a Korg Synth.
i agree with the last man. i didnt listen to the whole mix because the first 2 transitions were pretty amateur. i dont own one of these but my best friend does and i have thrown down much better mixes than this. you transition wayyy to fast.
oh and to jthedon you suck. mp3 turn tables are the most conventional way to go. especially if you are just starting out. timecoded vinyls are expensive and so is all the equipment that goes along with.
to be honest. i understand that it's not cool "using" such a thing like this console. but only because of such outstanding bad performences like this. that is actually isn't a mix.

Wichever set-up u tink would wrk best 4 u. Honestly i'd get CDJ's if u want 2 get realy in2 it as alot of venue's have CDJ's in they'r booth's nowerday's. So if ur looking at gettin good enuff 2 play-out then that's the way 4ward. Only really big-time club's that have Serato already set up, and trying 2 get ur digital set-up link'd with sum1 else's system can be a pain.
And DJ program's are generaly quite expensive. NuMark do CDJ's for a reasonable price and mixer's arn't 2 expensive either.

I'm sorry to say this, but 1: bad music choice, 2: too much time between 2 songs and 3: you just faded without even matching the beat correctly --> practice, practice, practice...try more to pick the good peaces in each song and try to melt them together vocals/beat etcetera....
Iz ok , let the mixes ride out more and try not to mix out in the middle of vocals, unless their liked looped. but thats just my opinion. Others might say its ok to do that. I just think its too obvious when the other song is being mixed out during vocals.
I ordered mine today :) I know I dumb as fuck in this Dj thing but this machine looks like a good time killer for me :P always wanted to mix together some crapy amater trance and hip hop mix...
Actually it's a good console because it's cheaper than other ones. I find the console not that good to use, coz the knobs are hard to push, but I think for a beginner or amateur it's a good console to start with

Watch out for your pitches aswell. Some songs really don't sound right anymore (Morumbi fe)
Also, that mix of Morumbi wasn't good at all, you should have tried looping Pyramid, then slowly fading that one out.

Actually it's a good console because it's cheaper than other ones. I find the console not that good to use, coz the knobs are hard to push, but I think for a beginner or amateur it's a good console to start with
