Jason Momoa plays the role extremely well. In the book, Drogo is kind of a one-dimensional dude, always poker-faced, barely showing glimpses of emotion. The HBO Drogo is much more sophisticated, in my opinion)

According to Emilia Clarke, the special effects staff claimed that it was supposed to taste like jelly bears, but it DIDN'T. It was quite disgusting and Emilia ended up being nearly sick in a bucket a few times.
